This works with Androxus Dash too, you just have to hold glide afterwards. Streamers use it all the time and it's less "broken" than the Vatu one bc you don't go as far

I get matched against the same 10 people on console everyday. It makes sense overwatch can actually sell merch and figures in stores, I’ve never seen anything for paladins in an actual store

2 developers for 6 months to remake the matchmaking system: ~$55k 1 marketing campaign to pull in new players: ~$250k Both can operate at the same time, but very few small-to-medium publishers are going to put that marketing money in for a 6 year old game that so many of the core players are complaining about. A game where the first thing a new player who searches for it gets tons of videos and articles saying "Paladins is dead/dying and this is why". They much rather try to tackle those "whys" than try to pull in more players to complain about it, then hope that word-of-mouth takes care of marketing.

Of course Overwatch has more players than Paladins. Overwatch has one of the world's largest publishers behind them. They got high-profile streamers and content creators to cover the game early on and still pay players to promote it. Paladins have a large publisher, but in comparison, HiRez is probably a B-level publisher, where Blizzard is S-tier. To put it in perspective, it's like comparing a $75m blockbuster comedy with that guy you once saw at Open Mic Night making it to a regional pub tour.
