@@ricktenerifeNo it’s not just you lol and I think there are probably many more out there who feel the same. I just am not comfortable in someone else’s home and not just at Christmas. I always feel that I can’t relax and can’t wait to leave. Once back at home I feel so relieved and comfortable

Oh rick you are a fabulous guy, i totally understand your day yesterday and how you felt coz mine was the same. I went to my brothers, people there I've not seen for 12 months, some had new partners and my anxiety was off the scale. Why everyone wants to now ya life story and be ya best friend on Christmas day always confuses the hell out of me, a simple hello, nice to meet/see you is enough thanks. I left 2hrs after the meal and when i got home i was in bed within 30mins trying to figure out the day..... 🙈 So glad its over, I'm ready for light nights and holiday's 😂 All the best my friend.

Exactly the same.here Rick, yesterday very up and down now am on my own (no partner, no kids, no job, depressive episodes, live with parents and am late 40's) Going to others houses in the past i totally relate too, unless it's a real party atmosphere or doing some work there, it's like 20mins there and want to leave. But knowing it's my last Xmas I will be around for, it's not something I will need worry about for much longer.

I can totally relate to this. For many years we wnt to my in laws every christmas. I couldn't wait to get home adter the meal. Now my daughters have their own families we go out for our christmas Dinner. My daughter and my grandchildren pop in to visit us.. I do not likw New Year. I get very down. Great vlog Rick

Yeah I get you Rick! I’m the same this year was the first year Iv not had to go anywhere apart from out for a meal great meal but I was happiest once home watching Gavin and Stacy although I thrive to have someone to be with me! The gift thing gets my goat too! I specifically said this years didn’t want anything and one gift I was ask if I wanted and I said no too they got me anyway! Now I feel guilty for not being grateful for it! On the bright side it’s over for another year!

Watching catch up here the day after Christmas. My Christmas Day was quiet. My sons called me from Vietnam and Madrid, Spain. They sent me Christmas gifts. It’s hard not to be with them during the holidays.

I couldn't for the life of me stay at someone's house for Christmas. Just imagine staying three or four days in a house of a relative.. After I'd eaten me dinner, I'd be desperate to leave. There's thousands of us out there that feel like this, be brave and admit it..🤠

My gfs granddad was the nicest man ya could ever meet. But when he went to someones house, even ours, he was always walking around and just wouldn't sit. And its no fault of his but he just didnt like it. If we went to his house he is the total opposite. He sits and offers me a beer or something to eat and would watch the football. We are all different bud. Dont think there is anything wrong cos so many of us think the same
