Nice find, know less than 500 of the BOSS Eliminators were built for 1970.

Warranty card was a great find, but solid floor pans in a car that sat in a field for 20 years impressed me even more.

Yeah very dry out there in Wyoming, the car is very solid

Great "treasures" underneath that nasty carpet, LOL! Looks like you found a "Traveler Sheet". It went with the car as it went down the line as a checklist of inspection items.

I know haha! I’m hoping the carpet cleans up, that’s on the list. That’s a cool tidbit on the traveler sheet, I haven’t heard that term before

Do you know when the XR-7 interior was installed? What trim level and color is it suppose to be? Interesting ;location to find the temporary warranty card.

I’d guess sometime in the ‘80’s. It’s EA I think, standard white interior with black appointments. The Mustang was also swapped from standard ginger interior to ginger Mach 1 interior

One car I wish I could find and have today, that my MOM, yes, my mom 😂, bought brand new in late 1967: Mercury Cougar GT, 390 4-speed. Green on green. I clearly remember the day she traded it in (thanks to the oil embargo) for a brand new leftover 1974 Pinto wagon 😢🙄. It was the darkest day of my life 😂😂!
