The white translucent glass …..was a sort of glass called Opaline …..used about until the last century for toilet little bottles or elegant table services bottles for Salt and other things …..this glass was produced putting precious substances in melting the liquid glass…..so the bottles and the boxes used for cosmetics and tables services were quite expensive ……I have got a service salt and pepper like that at home …

Great finds from both you guys. you can also put that gold leaf on/ around your broken pieces of pottery and make those into jewelry as well. What a variety of super awesome finds! That coin is in amazing condition. Doesn't really look like it's spent a couple of the hundred years in the Thames. That twice struck coin is very unique, whether a real mistake or a forgery, very cool. Your remakes of old things are very creative. I thought the pendant was a stylized letter 'g', until you turned in sideways and showed the keyhole 😂. You certainly had luck in the much on this outing.

That Georgian farthing must have been lost not long after going into circulation to be as crisp as it is. Really neat to find a coin like that. Finding 19:10 that dropped musket ball and the flint earlier makes me think that the flint was worked. To me it looked like a shaped flint for use on a flintlock musket. They tend to be squared off and thicker on one end.

Excellent video! Lots of good finds in this one; I'm also a flint-knapper, and I've been eyeing all the beautiful flint calkins that show up on the Foreshore for years of videos-- I'd give a lot to have some to work on my own (I mostly do obsidian and glass, but I do work at flint sometimes.) That bizarre coin with the multiple strikes was my favorite item from todays haul; can't wait to hear what the Museum of London has to say about it. Lastly, your scoop... The kintsugi idea was inspired; and if you ever have a burglar try to break in, you've got one hell of a self-defense weapon there!
