Love the design and look of these brushes!😍🤩If I didn’t already own practically all of the Real Technique brushes I’d have these in my cart! Yes! I have that set! I was wondering what a makeup artist thought of them. I got mine from BH when they had a really good sale. I ended up in the hospital and they were supposed to be delivered on the day I was due to get out, but they got delivered the day before. I was still in the hospital and my boyfriend stayed with me, so there was no one home to get the package. Well.....I got home and no package! I checked the info and apparently it was stolen! Luckily BH said they would re-send my order, which I finally got after I had to file a claim with my local post office, wait ten days in case it showed up, then wait the delivery time again to receive it. I will still order from them to get the sales. I am really happy with their products and the way they came packaged!! Sorry for the book!!!

Several KZbinrs had recommended Real Techniques brushes and I bought a couple of sets and several singles. However they, and my Marc Jacobs foundation brush and my Sephora flat triangular concealer brush and Sonia Kashuk ones made foundation and concealer cake on my dry, aging, textured skin even after extensive hydration day and night. So I had concluded that brushes don't work for me and had to use only sponges. However, I purchased a cheap (like, $20 for 12) Brush Master set from Amazon (no affiliation, not ever) because it had small eye shadow brushes that I needed. After trying their foundation brush on a whim, I was incredibly surprised to find that they did not cake or show flakiness!!! I have had them for two months and purchased a second larger set. They are amazing. The only one that compares is the IT Cosmetics double ended foundation brush I bought at your recommendation. So now, I can use brushes and not have the coverage so sheer, as I need it fuller.

I have been researching make up brush sets for hours. I was so tired and frustrated until I stumbled across your video! Brush sets are either non-synthetic, which runs the risk of reacting to the animal hair, plus I don't agree with using animal's hair for products. Other products are just insanely expensive. Then there's the cheap wouldn't waste my time products. Last of all, there's the awesome brushes that are great, but just do not include a full set of brushes that you need for foundation, concealer, powder, highlighter and eye brushes. I was ready to pull my hair out. You saved the day. Thank you SO much!!!!!!!!!! :))

I have that set (I’m a brush nut) and while the face brushes are simply amazing, I’ve had issues with the eye brushes when trying to apply a highly pigmented, softer shadow... like a tarte clay shadow or some too faced shadows, etc. They are too densely packed for those types of shadows and tend to make the darker colors patchy on the lid. BUT, on drugstore shadows or ones with less pigment, this eye set is amazing because they do pick up so much product.... again, the face brushes are bomb no matter what. Just my two cents lol

I have the Morphe x jaclyn hill eye brush set, a regular Morphe eye brush set and a different one that I believe was a collab with Morphe and I’ve had them all roughly a year and a half. They seem to be wearing down and I don’t even wear makeup that often anymore!! I don’t believe I’ll be purchasing anymore Morphe brushes because I think that most of them are just crap, unless you have a recommendation of any to buy/keep!! They’ve started breaking off, bristles become sharp and scratchy feeling, fraying terribly. SO FRUSTRATING!! Do you have a recommendation on just an eye brush set? I don’t wear foundation because my skin type changes SO frequently it’s ridiculous, but I have Lupus so that’s what causes it. However, I have not found anything other than the maybelline fit me matte and poreless that is transfer proof and that’s what’s the most frustrating. From drugstore to high end, the drugstore foundations seems to perform way better than high end, but all forms always looks streaky on me!! Blush, sponge or fingers!! Could you do a video on how to properly care for tools like brushes and sponges? I typically just dip the brush into the liquid soap or bar of soap and swirl it on my hands but it takes forever doing it that way. I hope you read my comment and consider doing a “back to the basics” kind of video. I appreciate your entire goal here on KZbin of affordable makeup, beauty and skincare and I always look forward to your videos!! You are BEAUTIFUL!!

I personally enjoy synthetic brushes for my eyes. It doesn't irritate my eyelids like natural brushes sometimes do. I just bought a set from bh cosmetics for 13 bucks, the midnight festival brush set and I love it. I know you were asking her but I thought I'd just let you know what works for me!

What would be the best way to wash and care for brushes without spending so much money especially if you use a foundation one on the daily. It's my foundation brushes that tend to get used more and start shedding after awhile my skin is acne prone to some cleaners too...Any suggestions?

I would shampoo your brushes weekly to fully wash them but use a daily product just to get the makeup off (something like the elf daily brush cleaner) 🤍

Dawn dish soap works well, but I’m sensitive to fragrance. I’ve been using the Walmart Equate version of the CeraVe Foaming Cleanser. It’s affordable, fragrance free, and takes the makeup off the brushes really well.

I tried a sample of the Sigma brush soap and it was not great. Also the Beauty Blender solid soap did not work. Shampoo neither. What works for me is the same soap you would use to dissolve makeup from your skin. That's what breaks the make up down the best. However, it also helps to get similarly sized brushes, rubbing their bristles against each other with soap, under lukewarm running water. Best solution for my brushes so far. However, I am about to order the Sigma brush cleaning mat from Amazon and give it a try also.
