X and Y was, coincidentally, the first game (Y specifically) that I got a shiny Litleo in the grass next to the first gym- wasn’t even looking for it, just found it while looking for a Riolu (had a friend who LOVED lucario so was looking for a female one to add to my team, was unaware that you get one in game lmao). Then my Y file decided to corrupt because of the Luminous City glitch and I lost her (the female Litleo a dumb kid me decided to name Shiny) 😔
