Grindin’ over here in Collin County. They’ve been hammering the chatterbaits the last week or so. Looks like I need to dust off my hybrid hunters too. Certainly nothing wrong with a dink fest every now and then!

hey man! I am in ft worth also!! i hit several ponds around ft worth and have had pretty good luck catching a few around 3 lbs or so. Keep up the grind, and always looking for new fishing buddies.

Sweet video! Shout out to us pond hoppers! That’s really the only fishing I do so I love the content! I noticed a lot of fish chasing shad around in local ponds around me in Houston. Maybe try the soft shad bait soon 😎

I used to mimic Shad and tear the bass up in the spring! I’m kinda worried the Shad in my ponds died off during the summer droughts

The GRIND is definitely real! It's funny how some ponds will produce while others don't- especially when you think conditions are great and nothing happens. Similar to your old favorite pond. When I was younger, I used to regularly produce fish at places like Colleyville Nature Center, Chisholm, and Bear Creek, but now a days, I can't even get a mosquito bite! AND don't even get me started with the aqua stained water at the Boys Ranch. I have photos of the Boys Ranch, when it was drained and being reconstructed. So I HAVE PHOTOS from January of 2016 of all the structure they built before refilling it. I know they stock it as well, but I haven't caught anything there since the rebuild! G R I N D !

Triple feature! Love it. I've personally never had much luck at that second spot. Got a bunch of fire craw colored stuff from my son for my birthday and looking forward to trying them out soon

The hunter has been great to me! I’ve got a feeling that this week will be tough fishing. Hopefully big fish will be eating crankbaits and chatterbaits in the ponds soon!

Pond grinder here. No boat. Living in Katy. All I have are ponds and taking chances on places that don't look juicy but some turn out some big bass. I have one honey hole that I end up going to but I like exploring the neighborhood ponds. Getting skunked is no fun but it's all a leaning process.

That sounds familiar! The trick is finding a spot that isn’t good enough to get overfished and catch the eye of other anglers

@ericholtam8870 man I feel the same way! The fear of over fishing combined with over posting a video for my KZbin audience. I will say that it’s more satisfying when I find a new spot that is good!

It has been a grind out there. I am wondering how well the ponds have recovered for the drought we had over the summer. I was wondering if you had a link or more info on that Nike bags you are using. Looks perfect for some quick pond trips

My goodness I know all about the grind man! I don’t care if you fish private, public, bank or boat. Fishing isn’t an easy task! You gotta work for it, get up early any weather for it, boots tearing the bottoms of your feet up for it, you have to GRIND! And I can appreciate that for real. Dude there’s always someone that’s gonna try to turn your happy moments into trash. Do me a favor and don’t give them a moment in your life. lol. Read it and go on. Hahaha.
