Here's a couple of things i got from your video w/ answers. 7:28 ~ 7:32 - It may look simple, but JDCR here is using an iWR (insant while running) move (f,f,f 2 or running 2) to pressure the opponent. 7:45 - usually i play Controller cause it's easier to Korean Back dash, or back dash cancel, however in my perspective it's much better to practice both, since in arcades they usually offer stick not controllers. 15:20 - Sometimes the purpose of learning other characters moves are to get a better grip of certain inputs, case in hand iWR(instant while running) some people while use Dragunov to practice that skill alone. 23:30 - Arslan came out of a region nobody expected to be good at Tekken, reference video (TheScore Esports Arslan uknown tekken god, The scoreesports the story of Arslan) Hope this helps.

So the dragnov combo I was seeing that you were wanting to learn from jdcr ( 6:01 ) comes down to Launcher (either down forward 2 or quarter circle forward 2), standing 4,4 into down forward 1,4 into 2 into run up big hit of your choice.If they are up against a wall and splatted, forward run 4 is a good ender!I hope this helps :) I'm also trying to learn dragonov :) Edit: so to explain the notations, 1 thru 4 is the numbers ppl use to explain the punch or kick buttons. Also, if you manage to get to the wall without using your tornado/screw (I like doing fcdf14 into snk 3+4 to get a high wall splat) you can do wr4 into screw into ender for massive dmg (like 90+) Enjoy drag till he s good boys!

Okay, quick tip for running a combo. Usually a combo breaks into 2-4 parts. 1)a launcher that sends them into the air 2)a string that end with a corckscrew move(you can find moves that corkscrew identified by a whirlwind icon in your move list) 3)a second string to pick up the freshly corckscrewed opponent 4)a wall splat that happens if you juggle your opponent into the wall that allows for one last string before they are downed.
@theincepticon24249 ай бұрын

Hey Afro! Love your content brother you’re always bringing the positive vibes. You mentioned us wanting to contribute to your growth by offering any types of advice, so I wanted to throw my 2 cents in. Much like at 14:32 you were saying someone had told you to better save your heat meter rather than waste it all on activation and mashing heat smash attack. This is true because your heat mash no matter how much meter you have left will always do the same amount of dmg and pushback, and so using it in combos is better if either your meter is going to run out or if you know it will kill. Asides from that, using your heat meter to access your character extended moves and benefits being in heat is always the prime option 😁 (You can also sacrifice the remainder of the heat meter to burst forward and extend any heat-burst move into a free combo by holding forward 😛)

Jdcr level (literal pros, could read lotus level mind on neutral since they got shit ton experience and plus got godly reaction)

For example in afro case if he still using a specialty and not trying to improve there is a ceiling and you couldnt make into the next "gate" unless you make a certain improvement leap to your game. In my experience playing t7, the hardest rank to break through is silver to cyan rank (im a blue rank in the end of t7) since you need so much different playstyle to improve, same as the pros. Lets be real in the end of t7 jdcr is quite often beaten by a lot of pros and he isnt untouchable either. Only guy that i think is untouchable is arslan since he gifted with his reaction time

I get wanting to get one, but you'll have to relearn how to play the game, but with a fight stick. You right about it feeling good using it though. Maybe the only reason to really get a fight stick is if your playing fighting games with a lot of quarter-circle inputs like SF6, guilty gear, etc. (Also they are really expensive 💀.)

Im a decently high rank drag (still bad, high purple) His combo is really hard for a begginer, since it involces a snk cancel. Now, lets start by saying, you need to learn tekken notation, but let me explain the combo to you, or at least the optimal variation of it. This combo works for every combo that doesnt stun or high launch the opponent (like SNK (qcf) 1 for the first one or ch wr2(running 2)). The combo is launch, into 4,4 (4,4 puts in you in crouch), then you do WHILE CROUCHING df1,4, that puts you in snk, so you do SNK 2. (*Note at the end of comment)This screws/tornadoes the opponent, so you gotta hit the ender then, so you run up to them and you either do 31df2 for dmg, 314/41/sneak 3+4/b43 for wall travel to hit the wall if you re close enought, at the wall generel combo is either d3,2,1+2 or running 4. Running 4 becomes a grab at the wall (and even screws the opponent if you didnt use your screw), but dont worry about it for now. His powerful low is db3+4 (huge low, LOTS OF PLUS FRAMES, you get launched if blocked tho), the other pressure tools at the wall is b1+2 for mid. Both hits guarantees d3+4 if they land (db3+4 only on Ch tho). He uses iwr2 too, but dont worry about it for now (even tho it's arguably drag best tool). He often uses f3,1+2, strong heat engager, but interruptable (wont happen till purple ranks probably), b41, b42(1 he often doesnt use) and in other video he used df14 and b43 but NOTE THAT THESE TWO ENDS IN A LAUNCHABLE HIGH IF DUCKED, but he s able to ch confirm it. You need to train it NOTE: his combo includes a variation that cancels snk out of fcdf14 to get 31 SNK. But i strongly advice not looking into SNK cancel for now. ENJOY DRAG TILL IT LASTS BOYS! WE ALL NOW TEKKEN 7 S3 IS GOING TO HAPPEN AGAIN

Tekken has everyone in a choke hold rn bro. That game is so good. The devs on point. Story line cool could be better but who gives af when you can do sick combos dressed as Velma ( Reina ) omg I love this game. And fav creator playing is just chef kiss. Can’t wait to see the vids bro.

13:25 the best thing about tekken is that you can't count someone out until it says either "perfect" or "ko". seen some tekken players come back with a slither of health and clean up their match

I found that watching tekken 7 tournaments or pro players matches greatly improved my play. Definitely watch JDCR for his plays.

I play a lot of Steve for 2 reasons 1 He's a boxer 2 his Kick buttons are replaced with dodges And when you dodge a attack perfectly the dopamine rush hits you like a truck

Afro if you press back twice while activating heat the hit won't come out and won't leave you negative

Good luck on your journey Afro..lowkey surprised you didn’t pick up Raven or Leroy but to each is own. I look forward to seeing your growth

King has grabs for almost every situation, chain grabs, running grabs, he can also grab when you’re crouching. It’s basically a mixup a lot of his grabs can be broken by pressing 1 or 1+2 but some of his grabs in heat are unbreakable
