Simple basic nasi lemak is the way to go, if you have the Ayam goreng, you won't be appreciating the crispy Ikan bilis. That's the beauty of basic Nasi lemak. Each components complete the experience ❤

What a stunning view..Everything was so lovely. The reviews and the ambiance were perfect! The music background was very soothing. I remember when you both were accustomed to using animated music before.. Even, pardon me, I don't watch cartoons, it reminded me of cartoons. 😆😆😆😆😆 But then the current music background sounds much more professional and commercial. ☺️

We usually take the bowl out from the nasi lemak and that coconut pancake. its easier to eat. they just put it there because its easier to bring it to you.

If you have some time, i suggest that you and Jimmy visit a sushi shop at Langkawi. The owner would gladly serves you her best sushi and it will brings memories back in Japan.

I am from Langkawi and attest to the fact that Ikan Bilis Langkawi is the best because the crunchiness and right amount of saltiness. The ones you were having are the peeled ones, they have removed the bones and innards, probably no heads as well. Easy to eat. Another famous ones are the Ikan Bilis Mata Biru or the Blue Eyes Ikan Bilis. Those can be eaten whole. No need to peel and crunchy too.

Next time if u go to langkawi try the gulai. I love langkawi gulai because it serves with fresh seafoods. Mak ngah gulai panas kisap Cikgu halim gulai panas airport To name a few. And not to forget to mention this small cafe name melur cafe sells nasi goreng with various of sambals. I like sambal telur and sambal sotong serve with the nasi goreng. Taste like a home made cook!

When a plate of food is served, make sure the bowl of sambal or any bowl for that matter is removed. You are supposed to enjoy the food on the plate. Nasi Lemak looks delicious too.

most of nasi lemak stall use cheap or intermidiate ikan bilis,and some stall use exspensive ikan bilis,if u use to ikan bilis,u will know the ikan bilis is good or not only by looking..
