That guy who confronted u are the clan of buskers....they are called gandharvas.... they literally wonder around in places and sing and play nepalese violin and expect to get something in return.... thats literally all they do... like busking in england but they just move around... they are harmless but this guys hunger took over i guess... desperate times for desperate people.... never mind him hope i have cleared a little of air for u!! Search gandharva and u will know more!!

This has reminded me that I had one of the best curries I've ever eaten (and I've eaten a LOT!) in Nepal. It wasn't anywhere special, just the restaurant of my hotel in Patan Durbar Square in Lalitpur, a small, inexpensive hotel with a restaurant only really known to hotel residents but open to anyone. It was on the menu just as "Chicken Curry", but was superb! Full of spices and flavours, and only cost a couple of quid. 😊 I really need to plan a return visit to Nepal! 🇳🇵

I was travelling back from pokhara to ktm and stopped by mungling to have a lunch there and outside of the restaurant i met one of the gandarva dai asking me to buy the sarangi. I politely refused him. Later,after an hour when i stepped out of restaurant,he saw me and followed,kept on pestering me to buy it and got pissed off. Luckily, the security dai of restaurant intervened and helped me to get in to the taxi and i’m a Nepali 😅
