keep you chin in front of your handle bars. balance out the weight. there some times where you need to shift your weight, like drops. keep balance will help your brakes, and make it easier roll over things, as in work the bike, and hit berms. being balanced will give the room to play with.

Nice video bro! Can you talk about where you place your feet on your flats when going down hill. You kinda mentioned in the middle of your foot? I just had a foot slip going downhill and the pin cut my shin and I had to get stitches! Those yoshimura flats look clean but I have the deity t Mac’s like you had.

Cheers man thank you 🙌 yeah so lately I’ve been placing the pedals in the middle of my feet and that’s been feeling really good for everything I ride (jumps, downhill, steeps, etc) when I do that it feels like my foot hugs the pedal really well and as a result my foot doesn’t jump around on the trail. On downhill trails I also lean my heel downwards like I showed in the video and that helps a ton too. The TMACS are solid pedals , I think both the tmacs and the Yoshimuras would be my favorites for flats. But damn man that’s rough! Hope you heal up soon 🙏🙌

@@GabeGarcia thanks for the tip bro!! Yeah took stitches out on the 3rd of July so hopefully back on the bike this week! I am going to try placing my foot like you have it! I usually set the pedal like on the ball of my foot or a towards the top of my foot, maybe that’s why they slipped but I was also riding down a steep rocky and uneven rocky chute.

@akissparaskevopoulos it’s great for both going downhill and uphill🙌 I feel very comfortable on it for the climbs, but it’s a great overall bike. I’m a slow climber and I never have any discomfort on the way up 🙌😁

I haven’t ridden in many MTB pants so it’s hard for me to say 😅 but the ones I use for riding are made by wrangler, I think they are called “outdoor all terrain cargo pants”. They aren’t really designed for MTB but they feel great when I ride with them 😂🤘

Dude I’ve been so impressed with the performance! I just find it so hard to believe how they are so “cheap” and yet work so well 😂 but so far so good man, I’ve scratched the levers a handful of times from crashes and used the brakes on fast sections, steep sections, and they are still performing well. If they do mess up on me or stop working I’ll probably make an update video on them to fill you guys in. But right now they are on both my bikes and still going strong 👍
