This is definitely not cheating. Although you don’t need image prompting to get insane images. Try using emojis dude!!! Emojis as your prompts! You’ll be amazed how creative the results are. There are so many ways to get incredible works on Midjourney besides precise word prompting, scaffolding, sculpting which are ways to get the precise images you’re looking for. Your mind is about to be blown. Oh and your enthusiasm is so amazing. It’s great watching your channel, for fun, excitement and info as you discover the killer MJ AI Bot. I so agree with you about the bot being creative and “alive” but DavidH the creator of the MJ Bot, keeps telling us it not. In my opinion the guy is a stone cold genius, no way around it. Live long and prosper DavidH
@FutureTechPilot
@FutureTechPilot Жыл бұрын
Hahah I couldn't agree more with some of your points. Especially about David - my channel wouldn't exist without his openness to communicate! and emojis eh? Thanks for the tip!! Can't wait to try them out. Do you image prompt the emoji or do you just add them to the front of your prompt with weights or something?
@andersdroid
@andersdroid Жыл бұрын
I like to experiment. You can try just a single emoji instead of words to see what it gets you. Combining several emojis of yields wildly creative stuff. Just use emojis instead of words. I’ve never tried them as image prompts, just text prompts . I’ve never tried weighting them. That’s probably a great idea to reduce randomness. If you combine them with text(words) the closer you put them toward the front of your prompt the greater the effect. Or at least that’s been my experience. Thanks for the tip on combining your MJ generated abstracts as image prompts. Fantastic fun results.

@@FutureTechPilot can you explain What is ::3 --v 4 --q 2
@FutureTechPilot
@FutureTechPilot Жыл бұрын
@@arg3882 So, if you see two colons :: that is called a multi-prompt. It basically splits your prompt into two or more distinct pieces - and once you divide the prompt like that, you can add weights to different parts. So if you wrote "dog ::1 cat ::3" you would get 3x as much cat. --v 4 refers to the version you want to create on. So you could put --v 3 if you wanted to use version 3 for some reason. And --q 2 refers to the quality of the initial generation. The default is 1 and it's the regular thumbnails. But if you put --q 2 in your prompt, the thumbnails will generate slower, cost you more of your fast hours, BUT it will have more detail in the initial pictures - 2x the amount of detail. If you put --q .5 in your prompt, it would generate faster, cost less, but be slightly less detailed than normal. AND just for the first generation. Once you upscale, all the details get added normally. Hope that helps!

What's even cooler, is that you can upload an image of yourself and turn yourself into a pixar character or an anime character etc... You can make your self wear anything/ do anything, follow a youtube video tutorial if you don't know how to do it. Its pretty cool, you should try that out.

Those look amazing but when merging characters like Joker etc in your images, can you still re-sell them or use them for POD like Redbubble etc? I know, that when you purchase the subscription on Midjourney you do get the rights, but I don't know if this still applies to the scenario mentioned above.
@FutureTechPilot

You definitely own the images .. but I cannot advise selling any copyrighted material. Like, you can't just make a Batman comic and sell it, so I don't think you can make pictures of Batman and sell them either. However that clearly doesn't stop people from doing it ... I just wouldn't want to take the risk
