This was made on the same engine as No One Lives Forever 2: For the record, that game had functioning melee enemies, graphics and better gunplay. I also like how they didn't change the crosshairs from NOLF2 crosshairs to something more fitting. It's honestly amazing how they broke everything that worked in NOLF 2.

Monolith gotta be one of the only companies that have had some of the greatest and some of the worst shooters of all time both come out on their engine. From F.E.A.R., Blood and NOLF to...this lol

I had to look this game up for nostalgia and I didn’t realize how bad it was. I loved this game as a kid but I remember there being glitches where I’d spend weeks on the same level running around and trying to find a body that disappeared etc... I would run around a mission for days and finally give up and uninstall and reinstall it thinking it would fix it lol. I always thought it was my computer corrupting the files and that’s why things in the game were broken.

When I was a kid I was so overawed with games that I forgave everything that was bad about them and would also spend days trying to do a single level or even getting past a single section. Now I'm older and have no patience at all, I realise a lot of the older games I played were pretty shite. I still think the oldies are the best but nostalgia is a powerful thing!

Yeah it was a terrible game to make and be a part of ... tried my best to make it better but nothing and then I was let go before they were finished with it...

@@MissionPast I was originally just the graphic artist but I helped and commented on everything to try to help make a decent game but nada... wish it had turned out better but it looks the same as I last saw it...my best guess is they didn't have the time and/or money ...

Yeah it's pretty hard to even get a second hand copy and I'm certain there's zero demand to bring it to platforms like Steam or GOG!

I can't believe a major publisher like Activision put this out. It was 'Activision Value' I know but you'd think they'd still set the bar a LOT higher than this for a budget game!

You might be able to pick up a physical copy on eBay or Amazon but it's pretty hard to find! Mine came from eBay originally

I remember buying this game as a kid when it came out and being disappointed when I installed it and it crashed nonstop. Glad I wasn’t missing out on much. I have to wonder if the lack of reloading animation and just dumping piles of muskets on the player was out of sheer laziness/apathy 😂

I can't fully recall now but one thing I had to do is to create a shortcut to the exe file and add command line parameters to it. That was just to get the *installer* to work for me on Windows 10

@@jelly.212 I have seen the movie a few times and have found no historical inaccuracies. The acting is not the highest quality, but definitely not terrible.
