As much as I want smite to grow, this game genuinely isn't for everyone. I think that's a development problem though. It's too hardcore for casuals, and too casual for hardcore players. It really need to pick what genre it was to be & commit.

i think they view it as a waste of a consumable slot but honestly as long as you make the cost back in ward uses (and actually good wards) then there is literally nothing wrong with it

I genuinely don’t get how people can’t get the concept of a moba they are really not that complicated. One KZbin video on how it works and if you have any sort of brain power the basics should be a piece of cake. Are they hard to get really good at and really climb up there yes they are. But the fact that there are people that play hundreds and hundreds of hours and are still ass is astonishing and you should just give up. I was literally one game away from masters and for 3 games in a row we had people go well over 10 deaths and maybe one or two kills. And that was HIGH diamond. Idk who they paid to carry them to that point but they sure as hell need to keep playing with them. And it’s even worse when they come from another moba like league and are ass. Like yes it’s a different game but the basics of the moba genre pretty much stays the same in all of them and have a lot of aspects that translate to each other.
