I Found These at Goodwill to Sell on Ebay for $100+ | Don't Overlook Them While Thrifting!

So I have been informed numerous times in the comments that I was looking at the wrong pair of shoes while comparing the Sold listings on Ebay. They are all Correct! I made a mistake and the shoes in this video are worth about half what I originally thought. Great reminder to always double check the Nike Code in the Tongue of the Shoe! Mistakes happen and at least It was only a $10 mistake a not a bigger one. There were still some other great finds in this video so I will be leaving it up, but the Nikes are not worth $100, they are worth around $50!

At the Goodwill‘s near me they change all the prices by 2x to 3x DVDs used to be $.99 and now they’re $2.99-$4.99. It’s crazy. Video games used to be $2.99 now are $4.99+. And it sucks because I collect video games.

Thats because they see videos like this of people using their charity for reselling for profit. Their mission is to put items in the hands of people who cant afford them, since they are being bought and marked up by resellers they decided to just get the money themselves as a result of people using them for reselling stock. Not daying reselling is wrong but i dont like flipping from goodwill, just a personal opinion, i know its not actually wrong, i just dont like it.

I used to work for a company that was in charge of selling those Keogh's chips you just retail arbitraged. We were trying to get the company to directly send them into Amazon. I would be careful with that brand in the future as I know they are currently working on being the only supplier. Great content as usual and i wish you well!

Good to know, thanks! When I sold mine there was nobody even on the listing, so I just created my own price. Then 1 other person hopped on so I had to drop my price from $19.99 to that $18.40 or whatever. But my store is sold out now, so no more easy money for me :(

Those Nike shoes you bought, have you looked up 9-digit style code? Those comps you showed are totally different shoes, so you need to find exact shoe comp for them. Also TL isn't the name. That's the name of the family type of air technology in it.

Yeah I just looked up the style code from them (525226-010) The name is Nike Air Max Pillar in Raiders colorway. 3 sold comps, should get around $50-$60 shipped pretty easily, but I would advise not to try and look at body of shoe for name for Nike shoes. They have style code that allows you to comp them, so use that as those comps you used in your vids do not apply at all. Those are totally different sneakers that just happen to have TL air technology as well.

CrOoKeDEmperor Definitely. I wouldn’t go for those, actual model is much lower value and while I’m happy to buy EUC shoes comping at 60 for 10 those looked pretty worn. With the wear I think it’s more like $40 free shipping, be catching a lucky break much higher than that.

@@ThriftSchool I mean, I guess you can, but recent comps for exact shoes nothing close to $100 and me knowing Nike and most current clothing, Nike Airmax Pillars are not anything too crazy sought after, and yours would need to be in better shape to even get $60. Next time, search using style code. First 6 digits will fine name and model, and full code finds exact colorway.

You should visit mine if you’re ever in Tennessee lol dvds are sold at 2.99 unless its a game or older ones like ps2 and shirts are 4.99 unless they’re main-brand but shoes are a little high but everything is pretty cheap! Are manager knows people mostly buy to resell

When they price to high it ends up at the bins where I get it dirt cheap, so the high prices benefit me.

Steve Vash not all stores go to the bins, in my state only about half the stores contribute to the outlets, the other half just throw it away, which pisses me off. My closest store will individually price out a dinner set from Walmart for 3.99 a piece, then they’re shocked it doesn’t sell and they slam dunk it into rolling cans to smash them. T shirts are ten bucks, shoes are 15-40, toys are 14, beat up electronics are still 20+, all of it ends up wasted.

Just like Kenthis15 below you said, I have a couple of thrift stores near me that will price high and when it doesnt sell, they just trash it. Kinda a shame since if they were just reasonable about their prices, near everything would sell. I have no clue if this particular goodwill ships things to the bins or not, it would be interesting to find out.

I think goodwill prices are way to high. I looked at open dvds at my local goodwill and they were $3 each. I think goodwill are looking up prices on things now. It’s hard to get a good deal.

I have to price check also because the thrifts are charging regular retail price for "used" stuff. Those keens weren't worth it. I never purchase anything without a tag. Size tag, brand, etc.
