That’s an and gate, they all need to be off, or it won’t open, but some have Redstone torches behind which reverses whether it’s in or off, so they can male a combination lock like that

The Redstone contraption is a lower level type of safe, and since the back is open, you could solve it easily

They are going to try and repeat a contraption. It has a certain order and timing depending on what level of the redstone repeaters are on. So it might be a repeating redstone cannon or weapon. Or even an auto miner machine.
