If you would go to the Polo stores, you will see that they use that tag now on many new Polo pieces. The quality has defiantly falling off a bit specially the outlet pieces. You likely just have a newer piece.

I sold a sweatshirt with the same polo bear on it a few years ago. It did not have that tag and it didn't have a velvet feel on the inside. With that said I don't think that proves yours is fake though.

I have found couple things at consignment but for most part my local one charges exactly ebay prices. Last sweater is tricky I've seen bear graphic with that tag but the bear looks more pixilated and the sweater that have newer graphic like yours the tag doesn't have square around the Polo and has the more loopy POLO. Agree with some of the others saying they are remaking vintage tags.

Yeah I’m leaning slightly towards fake but I have seen that exact tag on newer polo items and I know the tag is legit. But they could have ripped it off a real item and sewn it in.

Polo pony logo would probably fall under the "appliqué" category. Similar to a patch sewn/applied to jacket or shirt.

We just got our first Uptown Cheapskate here in MN that opened in December. Its a nice store even though a lot of their prices are pretty high. I did find a Filson henley shirt though that was worth it. Greyson pants still do decently for me too, but yeah the polo shirts not as high as it used to be. That Polo RL Bear shirt looks sus to me. Tag doesnt seem right. Nice Vuori finds though! Those always do well!

These people saying that sweatshirt is fake have no clue. I'm sure it's authentic. Polo is using the old style tags again for some reason. Just like I've seen J. Crew using the vintage style tags on newer items. Not sure why they are doing this but it's true.

Good mining love Uptown, found two Dixxon limited edition flannels there Tuesday for $13 each. Listed and sold the same day. In my area, I have found they ignore the old time designers and list them at low prices. Bought a CC Filson jacket there for $20.

@@_calebsells Your thrift prices in the mid west are a bit lower than in the LA area. I'm paying three or four dollars more at Uptown for an item. But the upside is way bigger than the thrifts. I hit it twice a week.

I’ve seen lots of Ralph Lauren , I collected for a few years up to a few thousand pieces. I’ve never seen a tag that looks square like that. Even the newer pieces with the vintage tag is the regular size. That tag looks too square. If you can’t find any other ones online that should tell you something. But that’s just my two cents . It looks really cool, just might not be legit.

I think that polo bear sweatshirt is fake unfortunately. The iron on looks too new to match that tag. I would say this is fake but hey I could be wrong I’ve also never seen that velvet on the inside with the polo bear sweatshirts. So maybe I’m just unaware

List and wait. Don't wait to list. Spring items will sell cheaper now. I price them at spring prices. They can sit for awhile. Remember there is California and Florida. We have the same wardrobe year around, more or less.

I list all items year round but I do prioritize listing and sourcing the current season. Mid Feb I will be going spring heavy. Golf apparel mainly

@flappincat452 the tag is wrong. That design is modern would have the newer tag..I think maybe it's possible someone sewed on that tag...I wouldn't sell it is all I'm saying
