Usually the reason is if your a small car dealer the other dealers won't bid as they don't trust the smaller dealers. Basically, if you couldn't sell it there must be an issue.thats my experience on the same situation I've had.

Craig already said that anyone with a "used car dealership" selling at an auction is selling junk that they could not sell on their lot. Buyers can research the seller and car before they bid. It is obvious Craig has been trying to sell at auctions only for content on his channel. I will say it was surprising that he sold the corvette at exactly the KBB street value since you would expect people to bid lower at an auction than the street price.

Been in business for 25 years. Sometimes not taking on headaches saves time and $$$ in the long run. Craig likes to take on projects for KZbin content. He noted at the end of the video selling the Kia for essentially break even $$$$ enabled home to free up cash to buy economy cars. $15,000 would have allowed him to buy 4 - 5 economy cars, fix them, sell them at $1500 profit, then rinse, repeat. Problem is, buying economy cars is boring. Not sure people would watch.

@@randolphduke Kias are junk...that is the headache. We are known as a dealer to have Toyota and Honda. 10% of what we sell yearly are RAV4s, and we can't get them right now. We also sell Subaru Crosstreks as they are popular due the AWD and relative affordable cost.

My second Kia just rollled over 100,000 miles. I replaced a rear wheel sensor ($13), two window regulators ($10 & $100) and two batteries (3yr Walmart $129). Never left me stranded or caused issues. My first Kia has 190,000 - ac needs recharging & I put new coils on it. Regular maintenance is a must though.

Kia has major issues with their cars there's actually class action lawsuits against them for the engines blowing up on them with under 40,000 miles on them. I lost my butt a Kia 2 years ago that had under a hundred thousand miles on it because their engines are junk. I would never buy a Kia or a Hyundai.

That is why there are multi-million dollar class action lawsuits against them. The class-action lawsuit claims Kia and Hyundai vehicles from model years 2010 to 2020 have a defect that can lead to engine seizure, stalling, failure and fire. Not only are they junk engines they are not safe to drive.

I just bought a 2008 Chevy Aveo 5 door at the dealer auction Friday for $500 it runs drives great No issues besides it needed tired had four brand new tires put on the same day on way home from the sale which was another $280 for 4 brand new tires and SOLD it today which was three days after buying it SO told amount in it was $780 I told the person it wasn’t cleaned or even been looked over yet was going to ask 2450$ for it but if they took it like it was today they could have it for 2000$ and we made a deal out the door for 1800 cash in hand as is! So $1020.00 in bout 3 days time and maybe 3 hours work which was walking around the auction and waiting at the tires shop to get new tires ! I don’t feel I done too bad on that one deal!

As for the C4 corvette (i owe 91 c4 L98 and 87 Wrangler Yj 4,2 , whitch i imported from usa), a "half" facelift was made for the 1990 model (new dash and and back end - because of the zr1). The 91 was the first full facelift model (and the last with the legendary L98 engine) . With 92 came the Lt1, which was arount until the end of production in 96 (along with Lt4 for 95 and 96 manual). Car ADD is real. @12:25... Craig, even car dealers need their own personal daily driver. Just keep it, but when you get to FL, install a 220V charger. Sell the Cybertruck if you only want one EV. At 16:50 - Raptor: such a shame it's not worth anything now with all that rust belt damage. Detroit ought to build a rust belt model with additional corrosion protection. Some people might pay an additional $500 for such.

Had two with over 250,000. I have a 2005 Toyota Sienna with 110,000 that will out live me. Wife has a Honda Insight with 285,000. Both cars run perfectly. I don't understand people lining up to lose money on most of the cars produced.

The M240 has the B58 engine (the German 2JZ). The M235 has the N55. Not nearly as reliable or modifiable. Open deck, so it can’t support the extra boost that the B58 can with a closed deck. The B58TU (since 2020) is the real balls with forged internals and a high pressure fuel pump.

On the ev that didn't sale. Take it to CarMax and see what they offer you, as well take it to a Audi e-tron dealer and see what they will give you. It's a no on electric vehicles until they charge themselves. Everybody who wanted electric, thought they'd save money on gas, has turned out to spend the same or more to charge the ev. Go back to cheap good vehicles, you stand to not lose as much if it dies sale quickly. Never hurts to sale everything, take what lose you may, and free up the cash to buy other inventory. Winter isn't far, especially where you are. Could be time to go a different direction and not sale automobiles.
