Nice video, but I think it would have been better to pick 10 players (or preferably, one from each team) that are all really young. I don't know much about the game, but I feel that giving franchise potential to a 24 year old is different to a 21 year old. Also, does it make a huge difference whether they play on a bad team or a good one? Looking at some of the less than stellar points some of the players put up, it does seem like they played on a team that was doing really bad.

Players always drop to the potential of their overall when they turn 26, that’s why guys like Connor, Hart, and Laine lost their potential. For instance, if an 81 overall guy has franchise potential when he turns 26, he’ll drop to a top 9 potential

I've put sooo many hours into EAs NHL series its Rediculuse. The I lit go threw every single player while making rosters. And I mean every single player. From WHL to the international teams, to every AHL team. I write down every player into my phone I think I could use in the future. No joke I have hundreds in here. So when I'm making a team I can flip threw my list. From 6.6 snipers, to my own created player, to my fav teams alumni teams most legendary players. Young top 20 first round picks for my AHL roster. And yes u set up my AHL team also. Ya its not healthy. 🤣

Zegras had Terry, and he didn’t even play on the same line as him. And yet he still brought more chemistry than Seider ever could. I’m not saying Seider sucks. He’s an incredible player. But Zegras did more and is the future of the NHL. There’s a reason he’s on the cover

What really pisses me off about nhl is why do guys stop getting better after 26 and their potential gets worse? That’s still really young. In other sports some guys don’t even develop until 26,27,28. Hell even in hockey tim Thomas wasnt good till we’ll in his 30s and viktor fasth was 30 and a rookie and was good. Not everyone is dominant right away why can’t nhl let guys develop on their own time like madden 2k and mlb the show guys can get better after 26 it pisses me off. In madden a player can get a superstar X factor over 30.
