People unfortunately snatch and run very blatantly in this game. This strat works too well if you use it sparingly. The person literally has to vocally question it but hand it over and then try to chase down the person who did it, but the person who was currently L unfortunately revealed himself. I know he was dead anyway but don't give it up until the end. You can manage to buy yourself a round if you play it right.
