Thanks for the kind words and review, and for talking about the adjustment period! To elaborate ... I designed this mouse based on a lot of the best features from other mice that I thought helped aim (and comfort to a degree, but mainly aim). After testing over 150 mice, my hand has adapted to so many that I'm not really bothered by many shapes, I can usually find a grip and play well. So this gives me a bit of an "unbiased" mindset, in the sense I'm not locked into using one shape, I can use pretty much all of them. This meant I was free to just go with whatever features that could help aim on my own design. It took me 3 weeks to adjust to the Razer Diamondback before my hand stopped hurting, then it became one of my best mice for aim at the time. So that's the period I recommend using a new mouse for, 3 weeks. I understand if you need to return mice because you can't afford to keep them that long, but if you can, stick with the mice (especially the top recommendations) for at least 3 weeks. That goes for the MZ1 and all other mice we recommend too, Razer, Logitech, Zowie, etc. 3 weeks. That's the mark that I've found. Hope it helps! And amazing footage as always, you're the master, Dm!

4:22 "more mice should allow remapping the top button" WHAT? Nearly every half-decent mice with software can do that. Only being able to map F11 or Page Down to it is a downside and flaw, not something positive. Honestly, you are way to positive about this mice.
@RocketJumpNinja3 жыл бұрын
In context he's talking about mice that don't need software, obviously you can remap any button on the mice that have software. We prefer mice without software. Software just clogs up PCs. The less, the better.

Just got this for Christmas. I love the comfort groves. I love the clicks and cable. However my pinky finger feels like it just lays on the side but offers me no control. I feel like I'm aiming with just my thumb and ring finger. I much rather prefer the m42 because it has a wider back and my pinky gets locked in for perfect control. The m42 has bad switches and a bad cable. I wish I can have a m42 with the comfort groves, mz1 cable and mz1 clicks. Also have the m42 with no holes on side would be great to

I can't try a mouse that's more expensive than my main mouse just to try to make it fit, I've already tried with the viper mini and it was too narrow to control, not to mention moving it down with claw configuration made my ring finger click the right button. Especially as a hybrid claw gripper, never been comfortable with palming a mouse that's small. The only mouse that I didn't even need to adapt to was MM711 it fit perfectly and I noticed performance within the first hour. I find it weird that you make a competitive shooters mouse, small sized, light weight and everything with no back support forcing claw grippers to palm. It's a risk I respect but it fulfilled RJN's needs and not the audience. I can't judge yet I haven't tried it but I can't personally call a single mouse to be the perfect shape for myself which is why I keep trying different shapes but still imagine calling a mouse perfect for others. That's risky and can make or break the products marketing. Very interesting would definitely try it if it's available in the Middle East. Xtrfy needs to work in wider markets just like HyperX are doing. Thanks for the review Dimitry!

Good for fingertip grip and smaller hands, not good for most claw grips and really horrible for large hands, and horrible for tilt grips. Also the year hump compromises range of motion for wrist aim and so is particularly impractical for games that require extended bursts of tracking like Apex and Overwatch. But I can only applaud Xtrfy for making this, and if there's one massive bit of praise I can give Zy and all his work it's that his reviews have taught me the ways in which my tastes differ from his and how his takes on different shapes will apply to my larger hands. M4 still the best Xtrfy model for a tilt grip, high sens big hands claw gripper like me.

I've tried this mouse for a while but the issue for me is that it's not designed to be used outside of gaming. It can be ofcourse but other mice have a MUCH more comfortable shape so why bother? It has to be comfortable 100% of the time and a shape like this simply is not. Again this is just for me.

@@RocketJumpNinja 100%. I was wondering; However, if this mouse had parallels with minimalist footwear theory? The principle is that your foot and tendons are meant to move, and that regular shoes prevent such movement. Most peoples Achilles tendons (ankle) are infact shrivelled by 25%. Your mouse removes the hump (Like the heel toe drop in shoes) inhibiting motion on most mice, leaving your hand with a void that it's free to move in. I think this is what causes the long break in period.. your hand has to strengthen for it.
