got a 96k mile 2007 Tahoe LS just the other month and I got it for 6k becuz it had leaks and I take the cold air intake out to put a flow master to find out the leak was oil cooler lines and it was a cheap fix my cousin said I got a steal but I have a problem sometimes when I start the car it does not want to move in any gear I'm not sure if its the tranny but when I do drive it, it drives like a cloud even when I press the gas its just smooth not sure what it could be maybe someone u know or you can help before I take it to a shop and get lied to and have to replace something that it doesn't need

Did you check the shifter cable maybe its worn out or loose? If it's not the cable might be something electric like a bad TCM.

The newer ones are decent I got a 2019 Silverado now I had a few issues but overall its good. The 2007 had about 170k it still ran strong
