Great vid, I was waiting for this review. I did my tec cam swap 2 years ago and still no issues. I got a dnk tune and it feels much stronger in the mid and hi range.

Oooo dude!!! U r in for a ride of yer life!! Brapping fast.. I have a shop installed it for me again on my new to me 2018. Long story short, I sold my hogwash of a hog and bought a barely used ‘18 SS, ordered tecbike camshaft upgrade, had it installed. Now, it’s meaaaaaaaaan!!!! LOL!!!

Do you have the part number of the Camshaft you used? The TEC website currently doesn't recommend the same camshaft as for the other 900cc engines.

I am considering this bike just now and love a lot of what you have done to yours having checked Tec bikes for the cam shaft which is no longer on their web-site I emailed asking and got the reply back if I want that sort of power to buy the 1200 instead like really? sounds like like triumph may have take a shot at them to stop producing this , any idea what alternatives I could get please, also as I'm getting a 24 model with euro 5 I hope I can still do a decaf on it as I hear they have made this more difficult to do?

awesome upgrade! so it appears that this upgrade is only good for up to 2019 Liquid Cooled 900cc. I have a 2022 Street Scrambler so I guess I am unable to do this upgrade?

The high lift cam takes the old model up to around 65HP. You already have that on the newer one.

What kind of tyres do you use? And which handguards?

He Uses the Pirelli Scorpion STR's, great on some loose gravel unless the gravel is actually big, and they do perform great on the road. The front helps the bike to dip faster into the turn. Not so great in muddy situations IMO.

Its not going to use more fuel. The only use more fuel is because more power more keen to twist throttle. If you ride calmly AFR 14.5, at 50% throtle, it goes 13 and down. Fuel consumption low if you ride slow
