Hey Jackie just wanted to let you know that the two Rajahs you got are actually rare and are not missing the color scheme they are just completely painted with an orange metallic paint with the eyes open. The common Rajah has the eyes closed and has the full paint job. Also, I am happy you got both the Metallic Stitch and the normal Stitch since he is my favorite Disney Character!

Sadly, people will go to stores and open mystery boxes/blind bags to prevent them from buying a character they already have. I used to work at Target, and one day, during my break, I was just walking around and went towards the funkos. I saw a grown man and his son opening Rick and morty blind boxes, so I went to my coworker and told her. She confronted him calmly, of course, but he denied doing it. Eventually, he came up front to the checkstand I was at. Little did I know he had talked to my manager, but she wasn't upset at me for it. Something you can do is take them back to the store and ask for an exchange

Ughhh...I literally don't get why this is a thing! The fun of blind boxes is in getting something unexpected! Sure, there's always one or two pieces from the set that may be ones you REALLY want, but the actual fun is literally the guessing!

I used to have to go around the entire store, and whenever I noticed an opened package, I had to bring all the way up to guest service to have them catalog it. What really sucked it was that sometimes the ticket machine would print a TOSS sticker, which meant that the item had to be thrown away. It just ruins it for other people

@@TsukiyoTenshi I agree. Whenever I get duplicate items from blind boxes, I paint on them and change their look. Because then it's personalized to look like what I want it to look like, even if it has the same shape as something else

Yeah, people used to do that at my store, too. Got to a point where management literally had to put up a whole new camera just to keep tabs on it. Usually it would be people hunting for the rare or chase figures.

This is why you should always check/compare multiple blind boxes of the type you intend to buy to make sure they're still sealed. If they're plastic covered, check for any rips, cuts, or missing plastic. If they're cardboard blind boxes, check to make sure the sealing stickers/tape have not been cut or peeled up. Comparing multiples in store will show if they've been tampered with or not. Unfortunately some people seriously suck and in order to avoid duplicates will just go through and open them. It's also a problem with parents not supervising their kids in store, as well.

What’s worse is that theres plenty of toy swap/ trade forums and websites, that there’s no need to steal to get the missing character for your collection. There’s plenty of other people out there with dupes of the characters that you need,that would be happy to trade/swap with you. Also assuming it was an adult/older person who did this ,considering they were so careful not to rip the packaging, and put everything back so it seemed inconspicuous on the shelf

Not only do these go in the trash - we need to light them on fire after for breaking our Jackie's heart and wallet! How disappointing to find they'd been opened and robbed. So sad - and not worth it to begin with! Thanks as always for spending your money so we don't have to!

Hey Jackie!! Fellow Canadian here! My mom and I love your videos! We also both collect doorables, the name is because you have to open doors to get the characters and because they are adorable! They have 9 collection series not including the ones that you have opened. The recent series 9 they came out with has a set of Mulan characters, you can get: Mulan, Mushu, cri-kee, Li Shang, little brother and Mulan dressed as a man! The doorables community I agree is kinda toxic, lots of people will open just to get the characters they need making it frustrating for people who just want to collect. Anywho! I’m so sorry this was a salty experience for you but I recommend you ordering the series 9 for the Mulan characters! Unfortunately they don’t have that series yet in Canada but Amazon has them!

I use to work at Toys'r'Us and this was a huge issue with the blind boxes. That and theft, there were definitely a few times I've found empty wrappers crammed in a corners 😑

Even here in Sweden I've seen unwrapped LOL balls as well as empty blind boxes in the stores I've been to. It makes me so mad. LOL dolls are pretty expensive here.

I'm so sorry someone stole from the packs 😭 Some series have ways of narrowing down which characters are in different packs (air holes in bags, batch numbers, etc) that collectors use to search, but some people are just disrespectful. They worry more about themselves and don't consider that someone (especially kids) might end up with the open packages. An easy way to collect and avoid repeats is to buy/trade with others in the community. Eve and Eeyore are my fav from the unboxing today. Would def buy secondhand instead of directly from stores

Yup, there’s lots of blind box items that I’ve wanted before where I might only want 1 or 2 out of the 15 possibilities. So I go to fandom Facebook groups and ask if anyone is willing to sell doubles of the specific ones I want. Or I just go directly to eBay and buy them. It’s really not that hard to buy the one or two you need to finish a collection from eBay or a similar site, as well as sell your own doubles there too. Some people try to overcharge on eBay and other such sites, but it’s easy enough to sort your search by lowest price and look for the ones that are only a few dollars more than the price of the blind box. You can also contact the seller and see if they’re willing to trade.

21:23 when you’re looking for Mrs. Potts on the sheet you can see there that the Rajahs you got are Rare and meant to be painted like that. (Not that it necessarily makes their paint job nicer, but they are actually meant to look like that and rare and not just badly painted)

I work in a local department store and when doing “recovery” (cleaning up the store ready for the next day) we usually look for opened packages to help prevent people from buying products with missing items. We don't always pick up all those items so I recommend people make sure mystery items are sealed before buying and if you find open products take them to a staff member to deal with

My favorite Disney character is Jafar. Regarding your experience...you REALLY need to let WalMart know. That way not only do you get refunded but now make them aware to check the merchandise. PS I´m pretty sure those Doorables aren´t the ones people told you about. They wanted you to get the sets with the plastic figures with sparkle eyes.

Hey! I work in retail, telling us could get you a refund for sure but there’s really not much we can do about the stealing, we have so much work to do in a day that things like this are at the bottom of the list tbh, as hurtful as it sounds, it’s advised you check your own product beforehand, people who don’t know or think to check can just call and get a refund but… that’s about it. Just wanted to let you know that calling in hopes to fix the issue ( people stealing and leaving the product on the floor ) will rarely ever work. if you have called, then hope that next time you go there it’ll be okay, there’s a high chance it won’t so PLEASE continue to check your product before you buy it.

It's definitely super sad that you ended up buying some that were already opened and stolen. As a toy collector, I've seen this happen soo many times and it's so annoying that people will open packages like this and then even steal them. What sucks is that you know for sure that they are buying them and the reselling them for a ridiculous price too because they are popular. It's so sad but I see it all the time!

I am totally fine with the side characters being the rare ones! That's probably how most feel about it...? Having the main ones as rare is just a way for the company to make more money.

I think the reasoning behind making the sidekicks rare and ultra rare is that most people want the main characters so are happy to get common ones as they’re main characters or sidekicks because they’re rare

The fact someone put all the open wrappers back in is actually devious. Normally they don’t go to the effort of that. That makes me sick, because you’re no longer ripping of a big company, you’re going to end up ripping off the poor customer, and most likely a kid, who wouldn’t see the subtle sign it was open.

I am so furious that someone did that!! I have worked retail for too many years now and I am sorry but if you're a child without (responsible supervision) you are going to be watched. One place I worked had a toy shop in half of the back room. I was the manager and had no problem asking unattended kids if they had money to buy the things they were playing with and sometimes broke. Most of the time they said no and left. other times I had to politely ask them to leave until they had money. This was a hardwear/farming supply store in a retirement community and we had the right to refuse service to anyone. Most our stolen merchandise was out of the toy and pet depts. I HATE THIEVES!!!!!!!

Ay... Ouch! I'm not super sure about this in Canadian Walmart, but if there is ever a defect or if the product is open, I can usually contact Walmart about it and they'll reimburse me the money spent on those items. If you need proof to show that you weren't the one who did the damage (aka the open packages), this video itself would be actual physical proof enough I think. I mean, I literally don't go into most stores anymore since I get my groceries through Walmart Pickup, but I digress. Contact them asap and if you have the receipt to show for proof of purchase, keep it on hand. The customer services reps are very good about solving the issues and reimbursing you. I will admit, though when I saw you were doing the Doorables, I thought you'd go for the small harder figurines, rather than the Squishables. Mostly because buying six of the Doorables wouldn't be nearly as expensive I think and because they're honestly just a bit better quality-wise than the Squishables. Of course now this has me curious how you'd do with blind box pins...any kind really, but blind box pins are always interesting to see what you get...

I work in a shop that sells toys and people ALWAYS open the surprise toys. They aren't normally as sneaky as to repackage it though, usually it's just empty packets left laying around.

I really dislike people that do this with mystery box toys. I caught an adult woman (20+ years older than me) doing it with LOL packs. I absolutely yelled at her while recording her. She was a Karen about it. I told her she was potentially ruining a toy for a child out of her greed. She threw the bits and dolls she had hoarded in her pockets and tried to storm out of Walgreens, but security was waiting for her. Apparently she figured out what days they restocked toys and had been opening and stealing them in-store for weeks. Again, she was well over 40. No shame in collecting toys...but stealing parts of them and putting them back on the shelf for others to buy? IN. DA. TRASH.

I've come across numerous open boxes of Bakugan when the reboot toys came out. Every time I'd find one that was broken into, I'd bring them to customer service and let them know. I didn't want some poor soul buying something that was broken into. Parents may not know what should be in the pack or they'd think the item might have slipped out of the spots it is supposed to be held in but is still in the box somewhere. Instead, the item was taken and they would need to waste money and/or time in trying to exchange it.

I used to work in Asda, (owned by Walmart in the uk) I was over tidying the toy section and found sooo many collectable boxes open. I thought "gosh why have parents let their kiddies do this." And then realised its not always the kiddies. They did leave the entire packaging behind mind you so no one bought them but still annoying as heck. Can only suggest you contact the store and exchange them or get your money back seeing as they weren't what you were hoping.

Walmart has a tendency to put items back on their shelves if they feel it can just be sold again.... defective or not. We returned a ladder that broke on us and they turned around and put it back on the shelf that same day

I got a Roku from Walmart. When I went to set it up, it was already registered as someone else's account. I had to go to Roku customer service to fix the issue. Apparently they bought a Roku TV and returned the regular Roku Device. Walmart has to do better with keeping "paycheck collectors" doing an honest job. You shouldn't have to deal with broken items being resolved at all

I'm amazed how quickly you got doubles. I haven't gotten any of the squishy ones, but I've bought... a decent number of doorables and have only gotten 1 duplicate. So I'm kind of amazed at this. Maybe it is because I spaced my purchases out and used different sources? Granted, I also did 2 different series and an advent calendar, so I know that added to the fact that I didnt get a ton of repeats.

Mulan's my fave too, it's really hard to find Mulan stuff though unless it's something with the sakura aesthetic but finding figurines etc is really difficult even via the Disney store We might have stumbled onto a wonderful bootleg opportunity haha

They made Mulan characters in series 9 of doorables. They also have Mulan herself in other doorable sets but I don't know all the different ones off the top of my head

My favorite princess is Mulan, I even have a tattoo of her on my forearm, favorite general disney character is Eeyore, which I also have a tattoo of on my calf lol. Regarding your experience- I've caught several people opening blind bag packages at walmart and target trying to find a specific one or one they didn't already have. I'd contact the store you got them from and tell them what happened, hopefully you can get a replacement or a refund for the missing ones

The first series of dorables were smaller than this like the size of a nickel. They increased the size in wave 2 to the size of a quarter (USD) and they have exclusive packs like the Disney seas as well as snow white PS Mulan is a part of series 4 princess pack, series 6 individual packs, and series 9 has the entire characters like mushu but she's not in the squishy ones. They make good pencil toppers too. The others like your stitch have glittery inset eyes that are huge and make them more adorable. To make them squish they had to do printed eyes. They are meant to be a pun on door but also adorable at the same time. The towers turn into stands

My favorites are Belle, Mulan and Ariel. Haven't seen something like this to happen often here, but I think stores should put these kind boxes behind locks and whenever customer want to buy one, they should ask staff to open. I know it would be obnoxious and tiring for the staff, but it might help a little bit to prevent stealing. Or at least put surveillance cameras with better imagine quality directly on the toy sections. You have video proof that three boxes were opened, maybe take them and video to the store and ask refund or replace of the toys?

Im so sorry this happened to you; I have an 8yr/o who spent her toothfairy and birthday money on Disney Doorables (also at a Canadian Walmart but we be in Albeerta) and Id never heard of this and had no idea what to look out for..she could only get 2 and both of hers had been broken into...needless to say it was a hard learned lesson for me, as I shouldve done my due diligence and an even more heartbreaking moment for her...both of hers shouldve had 5 judging by the empty baggies and in one she only got 2 in the other she got 1...either way she was in tears, her father and I were livid and we are currently working with Walmart customer service to get her her money back....shes decided she no longer likes mystery unboxing anything after this experience and wants to save her money for more monster high dolls...long story long and all this to say...your not alone in being robbed and feeling cheated and upset and get in touch with the walmart you bought these from so you can get refunded or at the very least given replacements

That's sucks that someone already opened these. Unfortunately I found that a lot while shopping. Also, these have code on the bottom of them, and with someone of the characters, there are two different ones.

Me and my mom got ours from a flea market and all of them were open (the packs and some of the bags). Luckily we knew the people running the shop and they said it would be ok to just collect three bags and pay for them like that. It sucks so many of them were open tho

This has sadly been happening a LOT with Disney Doorables products for a long time now Some people only buy the bigger 5-7 packs cause of it, since it’s so easy to steal from the smaller ones It’s even easier to steal from the normal small ones than these

I’m really surprised they didn’t take the rares and ultra rares they must have been looking for something specific right? When you said Walmart though I’m not really surprised, but at least in Canada would be thieves don’t take everything? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Sorry people did that :( thats no fun at all. I would for sure try and talk to Walmart about this. But also, just so you know: if you buy the "normal" doorables, rather then the squish ones like this, series 9 has mulan. I hope you have a great day

I’ve never seen these doorables they must be new because I’ve been buying them since they came out and they all looked like the stitch you first opened. I like those better with the big sparkly eyes but the squish is a nice touch

Hi there!!! Love your videos!!! I watch them with my daughter. I was so excited to see this unboxing, as I'm a huge fan of the doorables. I was so upset with you to find you got "cheated ".. That being said, the regular doorables are ALOT better quality is color and shape, design. I hope you give those a shot! The series 9 seems to be repeats of 8/7.
