I gave up reviewing this - Wainlux K8 Review

Wainlux sent me their new K8 laser engraver and air purifier to review. Is it the budget alternative to the xTool F1 that we have all been waiting for.......not quite, let's find out why.

At lease you got your unit. I pay for my on their website around $790USD about 4 months ago and I never got the item. I have email the company so many times and no reply. The FedEx tracking number given to me saying the item is on it's way is wrong, and FedEx had nothing in their system of the delivery address.

Great review. I unfortunately own it and can confirm all of the downsides mentioned :/ More than anything, I just wanted it to align correctly, but I've still yet to get one perfect so I'm finding myself not using it at all; huge letdown.

Did you manage to find the solution for installing the k8 on your computer? because I am having the same issue….

I pretty sure I installed drivers from that weirdly named website in the manual and connected via usb in cutlabx

I can put up with a fair bit but inappropriate air purification is just negligent.

im going to have to pull it apart to see why its so bad, Im guessing there just isnt a good enough seal to force the fumes through the filter and instead are leaking through the edges and straight out of the exhaust

DO NOT buy this - my K8 worked for a few burns / engraving & then just stopped functioning - no after sales support available - so just some paperweights - save up & buy a proper Lazer engraver

That phrase is for suckers. Many many things prove that general rule wrong. Obviously at a certain point its true but then its better stated as "if its too good to be true..."
