I put the legs down on the trailer during storms or when I'm parked close to main roads, helps with the rocking. As long asI remember to wind them up again in the morning:) 😂

I always put the park brake on when I’ve got the tail lift lead connected to trailer, could use the same thing if you’ve lowered the legs to stop you trying to drive off.

Drove through Storm Eowyn on Friday 24th Jan through the Red alert Area in Scotland in my Mini, from near Kyle Lochalsh to Gretna where stayed night at Days Inn,wads certainly interesting drive,true debris on the road and couple lorries blown over in central Scotland was extremely windy even in small Mini Cooper S 74 plate,was interesting but still made good time.

I see no harm in the position Jenko took, if in the straight over lane you would have to veer back to the left to allow for trailer, best to take both lanes and take a straighter line. If you are packed into that right lane you leave open a gap for a car you take you on the inside.
