Making a big deal out of hero choices or of how a teammate is playing at best turns it into a distraction and at worst, tilts the entire team. It's throwing, plain and simple, just as bad as sitting in spawn the whole game. Ask nicely, once, and don't create drama. After that, continue to focus on your own gameplay and supporting your team - the game is probably still winnable, and even if you lose, keeping a good attitude will carry you through so you start the next one with the best possible chance of winning. Have fun and don't turn your game into a 1v9 by blaming others.

exactly, unless you're high rank in that role as well. Chances are you have no idea what actually works from a different role's POV during in a match. Just focus on your own gameplay and bring value to the team through managing your own decisions instead of micromanaging others. Asking where to position etc is just too much.

Okay... First off, they weren't holding with Ana, so Aspen swaps back to Lucio because they did well on first point with him. Second, more goes into Lucio gameplay than sitting in the middle of your team and healbotting, using speed boost isn't immediately toxic or troll. Thirdly, Aspen makes the point of saying they've never heard comms like that in GM because usually people in GM don't use comms for fun, they use it for strategy. There's nothing wrong with that, but it doesn't make their point invalid. Lastly, we call the hog toxic because the entire game he was trying to micromanage his entire team, telling people where to play, what to play, when to make plays, etc., and that's pretty rude in GM. It's a high enough rank that trying to tell everyone what to do makes you sound like you have no confidence in your teammates and assume they're idiots who need guidance. As well, he was just mean. It's okay to be upset when someone on your team isn't pulling their weight, but there's never a need to call people names or slurs. If Aspen made any questionable decisions that you see as toxic, it's probably because by the end of the game they were so sick of trying to defend themselves and their plays to others with zero support that they stopped caring about winning the match. I know this is a 6 month old comment on a much older video, but man, the amount of misinformation in this was just distressing.
