Crying was a big hit for Roy Orbison in 1961. Roy heard k.d. sing and loved her voice, he asked her to due “ Crying “ with him as a duet. It is great hearing them together. To me though the best version is when k.d. was asked to sing it at the concert which was the Tribute to Roy after his death……It was the most moving thing I have ever heard…..the audience were on their feet. At the end she looked up to heaven and mouthed the words “ Thank you Roy “

We do not, as a country, need to be showy like Las Vegas showy or Hollywood showy to catch attention ... just listen ... our creativity stands out for itself.
