Souka's 2nd skill guarantees the next incoming orbs will be green. A few units have skills like that.

Idolmaster collab Mirai also the same future green orb skill. But she is no longer available. 2nd Anni Hinata has a future orange orb skill. EX Protector Swimsuit Treyni gives a future hand of blues.

I just start back playing recently. The only protect unit I can build with is a dark/cube unit. I don't have enough elements to build other elements. I got 2 100ex units. 1 dark and 1 cube. Should I focus on a pure dark team with the 1 ex cube or should I just go by units who has higher dupe level regardless of element?

The elements arnt quite as important as they were back in the beginning. We now have Forces/tag/Category teams that get extra damage buffs vs certain elements, regardless of what your element is. The best way is to just go for the current meta aka the Overlord team rn.
