One thing you missed was staying off site and buying date based tickets you can book MP for your whole trip 3 days before the beginning of your date based tickets so book HS or MK MP later in your trip. Also each date based multi day ticket gives you a window of time so book for the earliest day possible to get the best advantage booking MP rides.

You don’t get the 7 day window for ride reservations if you are outside usa, even if you are staying at the most expensive resorts in wdw. For certain if you are from Europe. You cannot use this facility until you are in the USA, by then the best ride times will have been snapped up!

If you don't pay for a lightning lane pass, and if you don't get the park hopper option, you are in for a miserable, miserable "standing-in-line" experience. With lightning lane, the visit is tolerable. Almost enjoyable.

Many things at Disney can seem like a puzzle. It's constant min/maxing and balancing the pros and cons since there are so many ways to visit. Unfortunately, nuance, balanced opinions and contemplation are out of vogue. Everyone wants their opinion magnified and repeated back. Thanks for your thoughtful video. It's pretty dense for a low stakes 20 minute video.
