Bro that first clip about healing from trauma and forgiveness and trauma was really nice Daithi. I’m a child abuse survivor and have PTSD, but growing up I blamed myself a LOT (because I was taught to), so I went through therapy and forgave myself. You don’t necessarily have to forgive the people who harmed you, but forgiving yourself is really important because we tend to blame ourselves and judge ourselves really harshly for things that were never our faults. I’m not saying that cures your trauma, but it certainly helps you remove a lot of the pain and power it holds over you. If you’ve PTSD like me then I would absolutely urge professional medical support, for me that was a trauma therapist and being medicated, that and forgiveness I’m able to live my life a lot freer, enjoy life for what life is, and learn to live alongside my PTSD. Forgiveness is more powerful than people realise, and forgiving yourself is really important.
