10:29 the speed gain from jumps have been there since ASE i rememeber doing it on my barys constantly and gaining some insane speed from it

Just a side note with Nitrado servers, you can change the maps around and it’ll save your progress. I started on the Island then switched to Scorched and played for a while before going back for some blueprints and rexes and I was able to just change the map back to the island go grab what I needed, then change it back. It basically just pauses the map.

Personally, I think Megalosaurus is mostly fine power-wise. At night they're essentially just smaller but stronger Rexes. There was a mod back in SE that gave them the Snow Owl's predator vision, which was a nice way QoL buff (seeing as you use them when it's dark). I'd say their biggest issue is simply how awkward it is to get them on most maps. You have to go pretty deep into most caves to even hope to see them, making it rather difficult to tame them, especially at a decent level. It would be nice if they gave older maps some "fake caves" that mostly exist to give them a more accessible spawn zone, or if they simply gave them some outdoor spawns near existing caves. Additionally, they'd benefit from nighttime simply becoming a more impactful and engaging aspect of the game. If night was a fair bit more dangerous, but certain resources were only/more plentiful during it, having a tame that dominates the night would be very desirable. I actually think this thought process could be applied to other aspects of the game too, like if tames actually had to deal with temperature, and each had their own insulation stats. Some creatures would be tamed simply because they can tolerate temperatures that others couldn't.

So on my Nitrado ASE servers, if you swap back maps, it saves all your stuff from the day it changed. Its almost a perk, cause one of my servers has completed and built Island, Scorched, Abberration, and Extinction. The other is Lost Island and can go to any of the other maps as long as i change and restart the server!
