Jesse if they rule out any physical connection to your interruptions in breathing, that can be a symptom of trauma/post traumatic stress. Our subconscious can compensate for an overwhelming stress response - even if we are unaware of these thoughts - by unintentionally holding your breath. I hope you find relief and answers soon. ❤

So greatful everyone was able to “walk away “ from the accident. You are in my daily prayers. I pray that the additional symptoms you are experiencing will go away quickly. Waiting for surgery is definitely difficult I hope it comes quickly.

I am so glad everyone is semi okay. If your breathing issue started after the car accident it could be caused by the dust from the airbags. I had terrible breathing issues after we had our car accident where I smashed into the airbag because it did not deploy properly. I am so glad you have a date for surgery now

I'm so sorry that you are going though so much. I don't know how accidents and liability claims are handled in Canada, but as an insurance professional for 30+ years in the U.S., you may want to consider limiting what you say about this accident and injury here on the internet. Only because the at fault party's carrier could try to use it against you if it serves their purpose. I hope that you get answers, and appropriate treatment ASAP. Sending more good vibes your way.

Glad to hear everyone is alright physically, hopefully it’s all up from here? Have you looked at any breathing exercises to maybe help your body remember the process?
