I love how raw and real you always are. As someone who also deals with mental health issues, I totally understand, and I’m so sorry you’re going through it. You’re very brave for sharing these parts of your life. It can be very difficult for people who don’t ‘do’ social media, to understand that amount of work it is, and the mental capacity needed to do it. Besides KZbin, I’ve been juggling Etsy and all the other social media platforms, and it is a lot. Also, your little clay figures are freaking adorable!

I think you needed this break. Just take it one day at a time. You can be creative on KZbin and do fun things here. I hope this new job helps and you are able to afford your medication. Omg, those lil molds you made are adorable. Ferrets omg at least make a ferret and do a video maybe and show us how. 😎. Do whatever makes you happy. One day at a time. That’s the only advice I can offer. ❤️

Your videos have been so encouraging for my goal of owning ferrets. (Ive been saving money.) On the small business owner side, I totally understand the drain of making your passion your livelyhood. Me & my cofounder had an argument over that same concept last year. Not everything you love needs to have a dollar amount associated or a profit sheet attached. I hope everything is doing better, and if not, hopefully your cute little ferrets continue to bring you spontaneous bouts of joy.

Yeah turning hobbies into a job is never good usually. I wanted to do cake decorating as my hobby and career. And I managed to get a job at dairy queen for cake decorating. And I generally hated it. I liked being able to do custom cakes people requested, that was the fun part. But I didn't have the right tools to do what I wanted, the frosting is pre-made and to get it a different consistency for different icing techniques, I had to freeze it, but then it'd get too hard and thaw too fast. And what I really hated about it, was I had no time to get creative and have fun with it. I had my 4 hour shift couple times a week to make and fill the freezer, with certain requirements of cake type. And no time to really be creative and do some fun themes. Since then I haven't decorated a cake. If I ever felt like doing it again, I'd do it as a SIDE hobby that makes money, but never my main job or focus, and certainly not on demand for anyone. If the hobby you're selling takes too much time and it feels like you HAVE to do it for other people, in a timely manner, it's likely not gonna work out. So I always say now to people, keep it a side hobby, and if you decide to make money off it, have it be at the convenience of IF and WHEN you feel like doing it for fun.
