I agree!! I been using KU for almost 3 years and is worth every penny!! This is where I find all these new indie romance authors. Mostly all my romance authors are in KU and what’s great is I read the book in KU first if I love them I buy the paperback to add in my bookcase.

I bought a regular kindle 2022 and I am in LOVE. I've been watching videos like these for over a year and wanted it so bad. I am a big reader and have been reading on my old Samsung tablet, but the kindle is a whole upgrade from it. It no longer hurts to read for long stretches of time and it feels so nice to have a device devoted to reading. Plus I'm saving so much money reading because I get all my books online for free! I'm so glad I bought it. ALSO for the girlies who want to save a bit of cash, just get a Kindle Kids and exit the profile. That's what I did and I saved $40.

I too am a physical book girly but i’ve had my kindle for 6 months now and I love it! I find myself reaching for it more and more! I read much faster on it and it’s great for reading at night in bed! Get KU it’s amazing and has so many popular books and it usually has a 3 month free trial!!

Hey, I have a paper white kindle myself and yes kindle unlimited is the best… With the Kindle Unlimited you can read whatever your want for free with paying like $10 a month. Can’t beat that. I love my Kindle ❤ It’s funny because after I purchased mine I still buy physical books too. 😂

KU is DEF worth it. You can actually read over 200 million books, including really popular booktok books and romances. It’s definitely not just boring, random books but it’s so worth it. Honestly, I was scared to join it but I was immediately impressed and now I’m not ashamed to say my kindle is my bff. 😂

Hey lovely, I’m not sure if anyone else had commented this before but there is two fixes to your two “cons”. First of all you can turn off the feature where it shows other people’s highlights in settings and secondly I think it’s such a great idea to get Kindle unlimited if you’re worried about spending too much money buying the physical copy of the book and the digital copy because Kindle unlimited has a heap of books and you can legit read as many as you want every month, it it’s so much cheaper 😊 Hope this helps lovely xx

I was unsure about KU as well, as I don't really like to read dark or smutty romances but I can see that KU has changed its demographic a bit to accommodate more popular booktok books like Lucy Score, etc. I'm not the type of person to pay regular price for it so maybe look out for a 3 month discounted deal or free trial for 30 days.

You may have already figured this out, but I just saw another review of this Kindle, and they showed that in the settings you can turn off the popular highlights feature so it won't tell you what sections other readers commonly highlight.

@@rubyanddelilahandnaniyou pay $10 a month. Then you get access to tons of books (and I think magazines too) to borrow. When you’re done reading, you just return it and borrow another. You can borrow up to 20 at a time. New, popular releases are often included.

last year I got my first kindle and it has been great. One thing I like is that is not like phones/tablets, it looks so good when reading under direct sunlight, or when reading at night the internal light doesn’t flash you in the face

i was a physical book girly too but then i got my kindle a little over a year ago and i'm OBSESSED i love it so much it's my baby lmao now i only buy a physical version if i really enjoyed the book and want it on my shelf or if it's a pretty edition as for kindle unlimited they do have some decent books i'd recommend using the free trial and browsing a little to get an overview of it (there aren't really a lot of books for my taste because i mostly read sapphic books but i still think it's worth it) i also saved a BUNCH of money by having a kindle because amazon has discounts every now and then on the ebook versions you just need to check it regularly (i literally got books like the poppy war etc. for 1€ 😭) p.s. little tip you can easily see what page you're on, how long you've got left in a chapter or the book not just by tapping the top but by tapping the bottom left it'll show you the whole time and you can turn off the option where it shows you how many people highlighted something in a book

I have kindle unlimited and I would def recommend it! I usually use it to borrow books I’m interested in, and then if I like it enough I’ll actually buy it so I can re-read it. I have the 8th gen kindle that I bought used, so that’s been fun. I might have to get a newer one though purely for the backlight feature lol Have fun with your new kindle! :D

KU is definitely worth it. If you get one book a month it pays for itself. A lot of the popular books are in it and those that aren’t you can usually get at a discounted price.

Ku is definitely worth getting . If you go in to your settings you can turn off the highlighted bit so you don’t see the ones everyone else has done just your own.

I absolutely love Kindle Unlimited and its popularity has allowed a lot of indie authors to publish alongside major authors as well. However, I recommend you educate yourself in how to best support authors using KU. Reporting grammar issues and stuff can cause the book to be removed from KU and other stuff like that. If you love romance books then KU is awesome.

I went with an iPad and Apps - Libby, Perlego, Scribd etc Scribd is 1 € / month with unlimited books and audiobooks. Can’t imagine paying 10 dollars on a book. Plus you can do many other things on an iPad . Love your videos

So the reason why I'm getting the kindle is because I've just started recently getting into reading romance, and young adult. But I've always read manga and light novels so I decided that I can still buy the physical manga but any thing other than manga I can just get on the kindle since it'll save me space on the shelf and money ofc so my bookshelf will be all manga and the kindle will be all romance, young adult, and light novels!💕💕

Why do people automatically think they have to choose between kindle and paperbacks? I’ve boughten books paperback that was only 2.99 on sale rather than paying 15.99 on kindle. And vice versa. Plus I still go to the library. You do not need to choose. I read double. I read a lot on my ereader and a lot paperback.

I was also told that there are books no one reads on KU but I got it a few weeks ago while I was waiting for an appointment to pass the time. When I tell you I’ve read so many books on my TBR list and discovered new ones! I prefer physical books over e books so basically I told myself that I can’t buy any books on kindle I can only read the free ones. i understand the physical and digital pros and cons thing. i go through the same thing with video games. i like physical games but once in a while i get a digital game and i feel like it's not real? or like a bootleg or a rom of the real thing. then i get tempted to get it physically. lol i like physical media because it's cool to have in my collection, but if it gets broken i can't replace it for free. but with digital media i can delete it to save and make space and redownload it as many times as i want. so yeah i relate to this. lol

If you are a serious reader then you need to get Kindle Unlimited. It will broaden your world. I read over 200 books a year and I could not afford that without KU. They offer a lot of mainstream books as well as some unknowns. Let goodreads help you navigate what to read. I read mainly romance and I found a lot of my favorite authors through KU and my public library. I almost bought paper white kindle on Prime Day but I hesitated and now PD is over. But I use the kindle app on my iPad and I love that. Best wishes..😊

Hi! New to your channel. May I ask what you do? Also, for the popular highlights, you can just go in the setting in the book and turn them off. Also, I love my kindle but I've gone through phases of reading solely on it and then wanting to go back to physical books. I'm sure you'll have your phases too because sometimes, the black and white really gets to you. Especially during slumps. But it's nice to hear that it has increased your reading speed and volume. That's definitely a kindle perk in the beginning. It's a great boon for sure.
