i love the little backpacker but that's about the new price (or was, mine was a gift years ago) - regarding the '0 tonal quality' nah, bs, sounds awesome for the tiny thing it is.

I plan on buying the steel string version hopefully in the near future.

Respectfully, you paid too much. Used that's $150-$180 guitar! And again respectfully, I do not know why Martin even puts their name on that there's zero tonal quality sad so sad. I did own a used string instrument store for about a decade! If you love it awesome.... I find the Yamaha 3/4 scale much more practical and actually has some tone. Just my opinion! -peace

Agreed lately yamahas game is incredible I just bought a fg850 a couple weeks ago, tone for tone the yamaha is beating some of my more expensive acoustic guitars. Yamaha is where it's at now a days.

Interesting, I think I should look into this Yamaha you are speaking of to get the opportunity to play and review it for my channel. Where did you buy it from?

@ProjectArmando94 I got mine from st johns music in calgary ab but I'm sure you can order the same model I got it's the yamaha fg 850 all mahogany except the fret board is like okume or some kind of pressed mahogany type of wood. Double bound nice accents and incredible sound all for 650 Canadian. Long and mcquade has them aswell
