With the Floyd rose, EVH does you the favor of keeping the tremelo blocked. Other than that, it's the same as every other floating trem system.

I did notice that. The trem is on the body. I’ve blocked my PRS so I’m definitely a fan of that. I’m procrastinating on changing the strings though lol

You do realise D standard requires all strings to be tuned down a whole step? Not just the Bottom E.
