The crappy part is is it took zlaner reporting the guy in order for him to get kicked. If the system knew he was cheating already why did it not kick him way earlier? Why did it take a streamer reporting him to get him kicked? The anti-cheat system is absolutely garbage in this game and they refuse to IP and console band these cheaters so they just make a new account and come right back.

You must not know how ranked play works, but that’s ok! I would say about 95% of people who play ranked aren’t past crimson & less than 5% of players are in the 10,000+ SR range. Since queue times are pretty quick, to fill up lobbies they need to dip into plats/diamonds. In multi ranked it’s 4v4, much easier to keep the ranks closer together without making queue times insanely long, WZ we’re talking 40 player lobbies. Hope this helps your understanding.

This has been confirmed false. You cannot and never will get shadow banned for starters, and mass reporting has also been confirmed to not have an effect. These are statements from the developers of the game, so I'll take their word over yours any day.

That's why so many good players get shadowed but never perma'd. I've been shadowed and I'm on console with a basic stock controller.
