I have the UV Beast V3 365nm and it's the best of all of them I've ever tried and owned. (Which is just about every single one on the market) The filter on it is top notch high quality. The throw of the black light is also the best I've ever seen. The power is amazing as well as the battery life and the 3rd 18650 battery option.

I do have the 365 v3 uv light, and I agree compared to my other one it's so much better for the rocks in my area.

I have seen the glass wear that glows as well & Thanks for watching 🍻

406, if I'm not mistaken you had several rocks that were phosphorescent as well. You charged them up with the UV and when you turned the light away they glowed on their own for a few more seconds. One of what I thought was a geode half but may have been a slab glowed really well. It was right when you started shining. It was around the edge of the geode/slab and it phosphoresced white. Might have been an old farts imagination as well.

I did notice that some rocks had an after glow as well. I need to get all the best stuff together for another after glow party 🍻

@@406findings LOLOL 😂🤣😂🤣 I didn't know you were such a great comedian 406. I'm literally crying.

Your Septarian is more than uv reactive - its phosphorescent, meaning it can glow for a brief time after the light source is turned off. And the UV Beast V3 really sets them off and imo the glow lasts longer.

I thought there was an after glow on the septerians, I'll have to check them out again and the other ones I have 😊

Awesome!! I got a u.v. light recently too. I noticed quite a bit of Montana pet wood is u.v. reactive! I have some pieces that glow orange and green too! 🎉
@406findingsАй бұрын
Nice! I did notice some agates would glow orange as well so I wonder if there agatized wood or what?
@mitchgillilanАй бұрын
@406findings possibly, but I'm no expert lol. Someone told me the wood that glows is actually very mildly radioactive. Has tiny uranium particles in it that react with the u.v. light. I need to find out if this is true or b.s. 😂

That's a nice UV light you have. I'm an amateur at this. The white phosphors were as impressive as the greens. Of course, it would be even more enjoyable to know what minerals provide these colors. I have a lot to learn. Thank you for the beautiful video.🤍💚🧡

Thanks 😊 I'm pretty new to the uv stuff as well so I need to find out what makes the rocks glow different colors besides just green and orange.
