I got another Charger Pursuit! 2016 AWD Hemi, first impressions of ownership

Finally got another Charger! This is a 16’ Pursuit 5.7L AWD! Excited to have another one and make a few more Charger videos. Plan is to update you all on my experiences with this car and give a long term review on my ownership experience and mods/maintenance.

I realize I said the swaybar endlinks were bad, I meant to say JUST the sway bar bushings were shot. Those were the only suspension components I replaced.

Solid! Yeah I’m quite liking the AWD platform. It’s a solid driver, plenty of power with the hemi and halfway decent gas mileage

whats your view on changing transmission fluid? Is it good idea or bad idea? I notice on my service records it was suppose to be changed when highway patrol had it but I dont see anywhere where they bought the parts and fluid needed. I have 2017 charger pursuit

I'd highly recommend changing it! On my last 14' I bought a dorman transmission pan with a drain plug, and I drained the pan every oil change until all the fluid was new. I'll be doing the same on this one too. I don't recommend a flush, just drop the pan and replace the filter and refill it.

I'm deciding whether to buy a 2021 Toyota Camry SE or an awesome looking 2019 Dodge Charger RWD V6 Ex police pursuit with 17000 miles for $19,995 from Asia Motors in Stone Park , Illinois ,if you want to browse their huge Inventory of retired police cars. What are the pros and cons of each car?

@@HITMANAGENT-zg4sj I don’t know much about the Toyotas, but I know they’re pretty reliable. I’d say the Charger is a cooler car though. Asia motors is okay but I think they’re over priced on some of their vehicles. The 3.6L is a Good engine but has some issues. It does get good gas mileage however. All the Chargers I’ve had have been Hemis, so no personal experience with the V6 to say yay or nay. I’d drive them both and see what you like the best.

I have the same car. Does yours clunk when slowing down to a stop when putting brakes on? It doesnt do it when cold out but on warmer days, 40 plus, it does. Im in NH.

Nice car how many miles ?? Also why did you changed the police wheels ? With that ones it looks nice but i prefer the originals

102k on it, it came with the wheels that are on it. I also would’ve preferred the police wheels, But I actually kinda like these rims that are on it. Might refinish them gun metal grey. Will definitely get a set of cop wheels in the future

Could someone clarify this for me? I’ve heard from some people that the pursuits were only given to the police, but yet I see some cars like this that looks like they have never been a cop car.

@@fatcat8223 this car was a police car, have documentation and know what department it came from. The dealer I bought it from simply purchased it from auction, cleaned it up and added the center console and wheels and resold it for a profit. Very common practice.
