When I met you at Chelmsford after asking you about that particular bootfair, you were so lovely, remembered my name ( great memory, as you said for names!) and asked if I was happy to be in the video! I was in the queue last week, and a number of regular traders were talking about some guy filming. They must have pressured the organisers into banning you.

I understand why people don't like being filmed BUT you have acted very professionally to 1) Blur out the faces in the last car boot video and 2) Agreeing not to film again. Banning you after you have said you won't film again is wrong and a poor show from them. The problem is people now have cameras built into their sunglasses so I don't know how they will deal with that....

The law allows you to film in a public space as there is no expectation of privacy in public regardless of who owns the land so if the space is open to the public which a car boot sale is then the organizers cannot impose photography restrictions on you let alone impose a ban. You took the high moral ground and attempted to deescalate/resolve any incidental inclusion concerns by voluntarily blurring faces upon request, this displays a respectful approach to your photography but is not a requirement in law. Providing you are not actively/covertly filming children or harassing individuals you are within your rights to film anything you can see from a public space! The organizers got this one wrong and should be held to account for restricting a legally protected/lawful activity!
