I've been collecting Matchbox and Hot Wheels for over 35 years now and in those years of hunting brick and mortar stores I've probably had less than 10 times where employees from whatever store would let me go through and open boxes like this, most say " all we have is what is on the shelf" and seeing this honestly is disheartening to see bc of being such a huge collector like myself and always not being able to find models I would love to have but never being lucky enough to find on the pegs especially only finding one Matchbox Super chase in those 35 years it's kinda like it's not fair and opening box after box and only getting Treasure Hunts, Super Treasure Hunts and Super Chases 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

I'm not jealous but it's like you're not giving collectors the opportunity to have that amazing experience when I found my only Super chase in 35yrs, I drive all over my area store after store then planning days off from work to go out of town hunting I mean this truly hurts my heart bc how much I love these little cars and it's so sad to think about how long I've been collecting Matchbox and Hot Wheels to have ONE SUPER CHASE and eBay's prices for Matchbox and Hot Wheels is absolutely outrageous then omg😮 OMG shipping prices so I'm just saying it's so hard to watch!!!!!! I'm sorry for going on and on about this.....thank you buddy and have a good day!!!!

The Walmart and targets by me have a no tolerance policy. Bottom line is if you’re caught taking cases off a pallet or involved in any way. The store will ban you from coming in for 1 year. If your caught twice doing it your banned for life. The problem is on different occasions people pulled cases off a pallet and boxes came crashing down injuring people.

2 days ago I was on a hunt cause I have school break, I asked an employee during restock if she had a case I could open. She didn’t find any on the pallets so she ended up out front and came out with a basket. Found the aint fare TH and the civic. Yesterday also at a target I was expecting a thin selection because I was there at like 12:00 ish, walked over and found d a skyline

I found a gran Turismo box a couple of weeks ago & it had two Supras & Skylines! I wonder why the difference lol Now the F&F box was on the same pallet too. It was the same as the box you found. Where it had one Nova. The front hood definitely opens. Awesome!!

Find a employee and ask especially if the pallets/stock are out on the floor. I have 3 walmarts in my area and have permission from employees all 3. But I've been told by all that if it's on the floor it's out to be sold so it can be gone through. But I also try and help by pegging them if I open the case and offer that to the employee when I've asked. Good luck

You have to be consistent, always on the hunt. I always have the employees scan it so I know when it’s expected to arrive. I also help the employees so they want to help me, I never leave a mess. The people who typically say “I never find anything because of so and so” are the people who go to the store once a week in the afternoon and expect to find supers, chases, and complete sets. Hot wheels are popular, there is millions of collectors worldwide. You can’t expect to find desirable castings every time you walk into a store. If you want it you’ll have to work for it like the rest of us. It’s not easy.

@@ShawnNicklausyou are very correct but I do hit the stores in my area daily before work like first thing in the morning 8am as soon as the doors open and I also help the employees and if shelves are a mess I try to clean them up as much as possible but it’s all good best of luck to all hunters and it the ones who scalp LOL
