I live in Illinois and here you cant do lash extensions unless you have your esthetician license. And depending on schools I believe they teach you lash extensions in esthetician class. Fall of next year I'm starting cosmetology school and then doing esthetician school. Love your videos!!

I believe she just orders them straight from the brands' websites, and that's what I've been doing. The lashes we received in our kits are Bella Lash. I've also ordered from Lash Bee and Meraki Lashes.

What!! That's such a great price! All of the ones that I've looked into in my area are super expensive. I guess it just depends on how popular lashes are in that area. They're still considered kind of a new thing in my state. Most people don't even know about them, unfortunately.

There definitely aren't as many men doing lashes right now, but who cares!! If you're interested in doing them, go for it! If anything, it'll make you stand out from your competition.

I just became certified on lashes but unfortunately I’m not licensed in cosmo or esthetician. But looking to go to school for that . So I’m the mean time I’m thinking of doing mobile or out of house . Just a couple of questions for you did you charge the people you first started on? And how long were you lashing before charging? Also congrats and oh one more question how do you her clientele? I’m having a really hard time because so don’t know very many people where I live

Yes, I charged them, but only for product costs. I did that for only about 2 weeks, but it'll vary person to person. I was practicing 7 days a week and doing one person a day during that time, so I felt ready and was already getting a bunch of appointment requests after 2 weeks. My best advice is to reach out to people on social media... especially other stylists and nail techs that work in salons in your area (that don't offer lashes) and ask them if they'd like to be your model. That way, their clients will see their lashes and hopefully it'll help send more people your way.

Not poster but I’ve been getting lashes for two years consecutively and Beauty Garde Lash Cleanser with the brush applicator is the best! You can get them on amazon I think, but my lash tech sells them 😌
