Interesting that this has happened. You'd think they'd at least let you go in and take a look at the stage, even if you didn't film anywhere else and blurred any faces out. Whilst I can understand privacy and all, you're not really filming people, you're filming the stage, besides the store itself seemed completely empty (not to mention they seemed like they were waiting for people to come in). This is pretty unusal behavior by them, considering mostly every other store are welcome for people to film, some even encourage it like Pineville.

I think this partially has to do with those people who come in and make horror videos with the animatronics like the "3AM SCARY CHUCK E CHEESE BIT MY HEAD" videos, stuff like that probs brings a REALLY bad light to the company since those sometimes get millions of views at from what I've heard only a few locations have that mindset [maybe this was more prominent within those areas not 100% sure]

Hmm this would be the first CEC spot that he would get the "We can't allow you to film here" here in Cali! He filmed in Sacramento. He also went to the one in I believe it was the Main CEC store in Cali. Perhaps it had been San Jose where it was at. But yes, it is unfortunate. From what I've seen he's been able to film in Cali in regards to CEC Cali. 🙂

You could consider visiting the location in Thousand Oaks, California! They have a Studio C Alpha, along with a _very_ unique feature! Edit: It's a shame they denied you at this store, this was the very last store opened during the 1990s, opening on December 28th, 1999

Umm that's odd corporate rules are biased. Everyone has a phone and camera nowadays you can't go anywhere without someone filming a tiktok or something. That's just bogus. I would so be a Karen atm call your supervisor, oh you're the manager? Well who's your manager? They have it posted who owns the store some places so call them. This maybe the last chance to document something and even if you can do so get approval to go when they just open or on a weekday when kids are in school. Its awkward but as long as you blur the faces even documentary makers have gotten over that loophole of waivers to film people. So rude.

@@Joshua0210 Negative, Aaron has stated multiple times in previous CEI tours he likes FNAF especially when it brought a new wave of fans to his work. He even put in one of his recent video descriptions referencing the recent FNAF movie. Also, lets not forget there is a FNAF themed birthday party on his channel. The Copyright takedowns were due too the fact the show was programmed via the Blue Box and was work of David. Which as since the early 2000s him and Aaron have never been on good ties.

Hi Chris just letting you know according to the news here in Australia we are getting Chuck E Cheese now this will be 2nd time we get Chuck E Cheese the first time I believe there was only one store and it was called Charlie Cheese as the word Chuck in Australia means to vomit so probably not a good idea. I'm not sure if the company is going to change the name down here due to the Chuck - vomit thing I don't know. The news also didn't give a timeline.

I guess it makes sense that they won't allow you to film, given that she thought your shirt was FNAF... Chuck E Cheese has been trying to get themselves as far away as possible from that franchise recently, and as far as I've seen on KZbin most of the people who film in the store are comparing it to FNAF, except people like you who go to see the show. It sucks, but I guess I can see where they are coming from, at least from a corporate standpoint.

That could be the case. I've had my fair share of CECs where I enter the building, walk up to the stage, and I just sit in front of it because I wanna watch the whole hour long showtape. Sometimes employees come up to me and ask what I'm doing, and I try to explain that I'll refill my game card a lil later and play games AFTER the showtape, then they just get confused LOL. Sometimes it also makes them mad that I tend to only really refill my card once a month. Essentially, I'll put 200ish points on my card and have that last me the entire month. So sometimes I go to CECs and don't spend anything 'cause I already have points on the card and that annoys them sooooo much.
