It is sad that happened to you. That what my friends and I face in west Africa, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin, you have to pay bribe. even if you have all your document. It is very sad. I am from West Africa and we need to find a way to fight it in Africa.

@@africaine4889 Yes and it will be lies. Sadly I dont think they can fix the problem until they fix their economies. As long as those men need money to make ends meet or extra money they will always ask for bribes as its their opportunity. Once when I was 19 I applied for the United States Border Patrol and they rejected me, they sent me a letter saying I had bad credit and I would be susceptible to bribes. Funny thing is in my head I said I wouldn't have bad credit or need bribes if I got paid more, but yea looking back if someone offered me money to smuggle something or look the other way. yes I probably would do it. Fixing the economy would fix corruption in those of authority in Africa South America and East Asia.
