You're French American, congrats! That made me think, If I ever were to get French citizenship I'd be French Canadian but I'm also already French Canadienne by ancestry. I grew up with with a Meme and Pepe.

Congratulations. You are the first person I have seen on You Tube who has acquired French nationality by declaration by reason of marriage while living outside France. I am also going along that route in the UK having submitted my dossier and had my interview at the consulate in London in February. Just waiting for that e mail from the Interior Ministry about the outcome, fingers crossed.

Haha thank you! 🤓 They asked some details about our lives and relationship, as well as several questions on the culture and values of France and how those were reflected in my daily life and worldview. Much harder questions to answer, in a way! 😅 But nothing that let me flex my knowledge of history or facts haha
