I Got Explosive Cancer and it's Terminal (in Primordialis)

I sumbled across a very funny mutation combo and it made for some great shenanigans, hope you enjoy!

Imagine if cancer could actually just explode. You go through chemotherapy, but suddenly your leg starts to hurt a lot. Then you see that the place where the tumour was is now just a hole and your leg is barely still connected

It would be super cool if all combo cells when combined with spike were actuall spike shaped cells so you could make vacuum spikes or slippery spikes

You can do this. You just have to select spike first. Vaccuum spikes are incredible grouped together. I really like explosive spikes; you can launch them at enemies with jets like bullets. If you're in sandbox, spike + sticky + explosive is a super fun combo.

There a new thingy was discovered, apparently, if you overload vacuum cell using vampiric and ghost cells, it causes the vacuum to turn into a literal black hole that murders everything on-sight range

I did something similar to this a while ago, except I used mutagenic poison with explode. I did this to create a poison sniper rifle with an armored barrel that wears creatures down until they explode on hit, causing nearby cells to also get low turning explosive which creates a chain reaction

unlocking mutagenic poison, and then immediately using it wrong is mildly annoying.

How does it actually work, then? I was under the assumption that a cell has a chance to become whatever your poison cells touch. Is it not that?

@@FelixHelix Muta makes it so that the cells you poison turn into the designated cell. He selected acid as his target cell, but then instead of putting poison on his build, he put acid on.

@ What seems to work best with mutagenic poison? I've tried spikes and poison cells themselves but they don't seem to do damage, just become part of them. Venomous cell seems like it would be great. The most ideal setup would probably be a combo cell of venomous + explosive!

@@FelixHelix Unless it was changed, Mutagenic Breakaway basically just deletes enemies. Probably the top choice, but explosive and cancer seem like good options. Anything that makes them more vulnerable to damage or lowers their ability to hurt you in return

They should add tumors, thats what eveyone is asking for, its not the same as cancer but its a common misinterpetation. Cancer can spread to other places in the body and create more cancer in other places. But tumors are more controlled and stay in their originsl area but keep growing and growing. (i think the tumors are also of the same tissue unlike cancer which is just an amalgamation of diffrent cells that are constantly reproducing.) Basically a cell that keeps spreading itself but it doesnt replace or overwrite other cell.
