Not sure if you realized but during the choreography for ‘Home’ they do the action of opening a door & walking through. & at the end, they open the door for us(carats) to walk through. This song is about us (carats) being a home & safe place for seventeen & vice versa.

Getting closer is one of my gym songs along with HIT and let me tell you I be in that gym going hard Thanks to Seventeen (pun intended). the reason why home reminded you of dwc was because the intro of home (the marimba) was actually the drop of dwc (after the "ulgo shipji anha" part) if tha makes sense. and to add up to that, there's actually a song from hip hop unit called "if i" and the chorus drop was the intro for dwc!!!!!

in the HOME choreography when they sing the first start of the chorus "cos i'm your home, home, home, home" someone pointed out that it looks like they're opening a door and then they step inside. and i want to believe in that since the MV has lots of doors. and somehow that just makes the whole thing special, how the choreo is always parallel to the meaning of the song. the choreo even ends with them "opening the door" which is just perfect.

When I'm having a bad day, the moment I twist the doorknob and walk through, I feel, home.
