Congratulations on your decision and I'm glad it all went well for you. When I was your age I was really self-conscious about my receding hairline as well - to the extent that I did the hairpiece thing for nearly eight years (wasn't comfortable with the state of transplant technology at the time, the cost, or the fact that if they messed up there was basically no going back). But now at 65 I've long made peace with the idea of being bald, and in retrospect I'm glad I didn't take the plunge.

Mine was around $6.5k which some people will say is high but it's local to me. Round trip to Turkey for me was going to run around $2-4k.

For only 2 weeks , you’re results are looking great, you’ll have a full head of hair in a few months, I had a hair transplant too but I Cali ,over 26 years ago , it cost me 2 thousand dollars in these days, I’m 62 years old now, they couldn’t do the crown , but did the front of the head and is still in good shape, I think you got a great deal.

I would bet the prices in Miami are even more. The prices in Turkey are about $3-4k but the prices of flights maid it not worth it to me. I bet prices for this in Maimi are $10-15k

2 friends {Canada) had hair transplants. Lasted 2 years and would have to have it done again. They both did not. Most successful h. t. I have seen, the guy had it done 7 times. Will be interesting to see how long yours will last.

Yeah 7.5k usd is crazy for colombia. I would say 3.5 is a good price

You could do price comparison between Medelin and Cali. For that expensive cost it would worth it. Cali has the best healthcare services in terms of prices and quality. From a local.

Totally agree, these Colombians think the gringos do not count money. Had to refuse their service. Made my surgery in Georgia (Europe). Not happy with results for the price. However it depends on the hair.

Would have been a whole lot easier just to shave it off. I was going bald and gray. Spent thousands dying my hair 2-3 times per week for years, and covering my head so no one would know. Thing is everybody knew. Now I'm completely bald, and love it. Kicking myself I didn't shave it off 30yrs ago

So you were flying from back to Thailand from Istanbul and the number of people that had their head wrapped due to hair transplants was at least 10 or more? Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Too funny. Why do people think saying such ridiculous thing proves their point? So I've been to BKK, DMG, HKT, CNX, etc. So you are claiming you flew from Istanbul to Thailand and AT LEAST 10 guys on that flight had head wraps proving a hair transplant. That is so comically absurd that I feel pity for you for saying something so obviously unbelievable & ridiculous. And by the way, I've been on that flight many times between IST & BKK and have never once seen a non-muslim head wrap. Being full of BS doesn't help your point.
