Does it really count as a new Skylanders if you already have the Crystal Starcast chase variant ? And does it increase the limit level of your Imaginator ?

I don’t own the clear version so I can’t say for sure but my best guess is that they use the same chip and only one will increase the level if you own them both.

Sorry to break it to ya, but that figure has been opened, the tape has bubbles, and there is a rip on the top of the box, so it has indeed been opened. But i think it has been put back, very carefully! But awesome anyway. Good video :)

I actually wondered the same thing at first. I’ve been reassured by a trusted source that it has never been opened by a consumer. It’s speculated that these boxes and figures were produced separately and boxed together in the ToysforBob or Activision offices. That would explain the creases and the tape. Other than that, opening a factory sealed imaginator box with such precision is not easy, trust me I tried. Not in mint perfect condition, but can confirm it’s never been opened.
